for ptx 022.1 we are more than happy to welcome chicago legend dj sneak. -3 d print- is an explicit feminist anthem that will go down in dance music history as a modern take on chicago house with a punk rock attitude. villalobos and einzelkind on remix duty.
chicago house pioneer dj sneak and russian export tripmastaz have proven themselves to be a formidable pairing since their first ep landed on sneak’s imprint, i’m a house gangster, in 2014. in july, they add to their joint discography with a three-tracker dispatch on cassy’s burgeoning label, kwench records. the label’s sixth release, cassy takes a step back and gives this collaborative duo yet another outlet to showcase their dancefloor fodder, which follows releases on kaluki music, mr. nice guy, reptile dysfunction, ovum recordings and, of course, i’m a house gangster. extraterrestrial intelligence reminds fans of not just their deftness in producing tough house cuts, but also their prowess at manipulating the roland tb-303 to deal a solid smacking of acid. ‘ufo’ reaches out to roughen up the humanoids of this planet with the 303’s distinctive squelch and those clattering drum machine rhythms – a track that’s guaranteed to get you twisted. gruff vocals on ‘click thang’ break through as a tough bassline ensures your participation on the floor, and ‘last daze of dizko’ maintains momentum with a thumping bassline that any peak-time burner should possess.
tripmastaz label plant 74 has been launched back in 2009 as a platform for young artists worldwide. since then it’s catalogue got licensed by !k7, defected, cocoon, ministry of sound to name a few.
2017 is the time to get vinyl lovers their hands on vinyl only mix series of the best tracks from plant 74’s back catalogue as well as new unreleased music. that’s our give back love affair with supporters :)

rawax proudly welcomes mr. carlos sosa aka dj sneak to the family! you cant imagine how happy and honoured we ve been when we received an email from dj sneak paying us respect for the label work so far and offering us most of his amazing past productions. we now pay our respect to dj sneak and present his own series on chiwax called dj sneak edition, with re-issues, new productions and also with unreleased tracks from the 90s. the first release will be the legendary blue funk ep from 1994. first 500 copies will be pressed on blue vinyl - preorder necessary!
limited warehouse find... played by karotte, nick curly, sebo k, sascha dive, loco dice.... carlos soza aka dj sneak made a kindof comeback last year restarting his magnetic label with us and we promise - loud and clearly: zmag 23 will do its magic and the damage done to make him stay on the up. easy and cool , demanding and bright with a1 track >doing the dew< being the kind of uberbomb of the ep. centuring around the familiar >doo da doo< being as much very swingy jackin house as it could and as much jack in the box as it must. side b is equally as powerful with >the game< & >the science<, 2 tracks that explode with massive jackin beats and unrelentless grooves. these tracks will keep you bouncing until you drop of exhaustion. sneak is back and no, sneak wont let down!
plus sized house hitmaker dj sneak has knocked together his second release for exploited records, laying down some serious swing on 3 club tracks which are destined to make dance floors sweat this summer, from ibiza to points beyond. with sneak s infamous grill and barbecue sessions in mind the night dish ep is a proper doner kebab and satay meal after a heavy night out in berlin. featuring artwork by berlin-based street artist nomad.
love or hate his infamous twitter beefs there is no denying the legendary status of this house music vanguard. with 20+ years of djing and producing under his belt, this is dj sneak s first release on exploited: a collaboration with murk (oscar g and ralph falcon). back in 2003 murk released dark beat - a track that topped the billboard dance charts and became the underground smash of the year. a few months ago we asked sneak for a remix by mail but we didn t get a reply. after 4 months he suddenly popped up in our mailbox, apologized and said that he finally had some studio time. in the end he sent through some tracks to see if we like them. the rest is history as you re probably listening to one of the tracks right now. this quirky and funky house track (a 10 minute journey) is only the tip of the ice berg though.
its impossible to sum up a career of dj sneak in few words, so well try with just couple of terms that might serve as a brief introduction to the world of the one of the scenes most vibrant djs and producers: in 1992 dj sneak began recording music. he released some of house music defining tracks on defiant, henry street music, relief, cajual, 83 west, downtown 161, strictly rhythm, classic (...) to name a few. 20 years later he is still one of hardest working producers around, one of the most in demand djs, and as always a full time house gangster. this summer he is responsible for a hard-hitting 4 track – ep which will be his debut on desolat. enjoy!
the cyh remixes vol.1 dont need a long explanation. with dj sneak & ian pooley two of the finest house producers of all time chose their favorite clap your hands track for their own interpretation. we are more than happy and proud to present the dj sneak remix of olene kadars >little miss dynamite feat. d-low< and ian pooleys remix of marcel knopfs >lone gone home<.

another modern classic from be as one is generating consensus from two of the main producers of recent times. after his latest releases on r&s and objektivity and his acclaimed artist album on ovum, shlomi aber returns on be as one with an original work after a long absence on his own label, since the times of the magnificent groundbreaking >sketches< alongsie detroit piooneer kenny larkin. now he does it again with a bang, involving in the project the legendary house stalwart dj sneak, whose been quite busy in the latest years unceedingly preaching the house gospel. abers original version of after touch bares the man own techno trademark, heavy dark funk bass and snares, all looped up with a consinstent drive and shaky groove. dj sneak does his thing on the b side, stomping his trademark sound all along the 10 minutes of the track, bringing the perfect balance to this release with a hoursier version of chunky, raw and old school groove.
