schauspieler und musikliebhaber martin freeman (the hobbit, sherlock, the office) wurde in seiner teenagerzeit in den 80er jahren durch musik von bands wie brand new heavies und dem james taylor quartet geprägt. “jazz on the corner” bündelt die beinahe obsessive liebe von eddie piller, mitgründer des einflussreichen londoner labels acid jazz, und martin freeman zu jazz. cd1 ist von freeman kompiliert, cd2 von piller. auf vinyl sind die tracks durchmischt und über die 4 seiten verteilt. das doppel-vinyl erscheint im klappcover.
