die erste platte besteht aus edits, verschlungenen loops, perkussiven beats und fesselnden grooves - eine synthese aus ineinander verschlungenen erinnerungen. es ist ein experiment, eine suche nach bedeutungen - eine bescheidene hommage an die genres, die mich geprägt haben, und an die künstler, die meine inspiration immer wieder beflügeln.

der zweite teil ist meine persönliche geschichte und meine erinnerungen, oder besser gesagt, fragmente davon. es geht um meine heimatstadt jekaterinburg, die teufel aus dem uralgebirge, die von überall her in meine persönlichkeit eindringen, die zeit in moskau, die meine widerstandskraft gestärkt hat, und das kapitel des umzugs nach spanien auf der suche nach einem helleren horizont. dies sind nur bruchstücke von erinnerungen, dank derer ich hier und jetzt bin.

belgian duo raw district return to the crosstown rebels label with addicted, teaming up with the formidable aquarius heaven again for the label, this time remixed by the infamous doc martin and keinemusiks rampa. an ex reggae dancehall and hip hop singer aquarius heaven brings the colors of the caribbean to addicted. raw districts flamboyant percussions grinds the beats into a track that stretches the limitations of electronic music. rampas remix illustrates the breadth of his studio skills, as founder of a production company teile, he builds soaring synths and strumming piano to elevate the emotional aspect to addicted equipping it for the early hours of the night. doc martin has earned the respect of many over his extensive career for his timeless style that bridge many genres. his remix is a driving, dub-tastic, tribal take on the original that has been going down a storm!

loved by alex from tokyo, alex attias, ame, dixon, marcus worgull, peter kruder, roland appel, tony lionni and many more.. fabrice lig, the prince of everything electronic, is back after his very acclaimed x-slaves. he delivers the goods once again, starting off here with chapter one in a purple raw trilogy. first up is the track, based around a jerky syncopated rhythm and a very dry kick, which remains light all the way. as usual, lig’s arrangements evolve progressively before they wipe us away with their screeching pads and synthetic melodies. a great mixture of minimal techno and detroit nostalgia. no doubt, the more efficient track produced by fabrice lig and hammered by dixon, ame, alex attias, quarion… much more aggressive, bump bump is built around fat analogue sounds, or acid noises if you prefer which seem to emulate screaming animals. one is easily carried away by an animalistic groove that keeps on building from the beginning till the end. it all ends with the very funky the riff pourpre, a perfect crossover between metro area and parliament. the retro sounds sit nicely on a big fat beat, the kind which lig excels in.

as fabrice lig has contributed to the kanzleramt history – we are returning the favour and congratulate with this release to his 25th stage-anniversary! black stone is taken from universal tech ep of 2003 (ka089 12inch | digi). its powerful sequence was always considered as one of the best ever to be exposed on kanzleramt. so more than deserving and about damn time 3 new black stones emerge: polished into an epic set-starter or the jet-black time-lapsed grinding and compressing in the earth’s crust or raw acid washed. heiko leaves the choice to you.

classic sounding track by two long going and respected techno heads.. fabrice lig and titonton. these guys take it back to the early nineties when techno was still fresh and new... the days that titonton and dan curtin were debuting with their sophisticated techno sound. raw funky 909 percussion, bleepy analogue synths and great warm string sounds and beautiful melodies. purist techno tracks that never go out of style and reminds the old blokes why we loved techno in that period so much. and it shows the young cats that there is more then the standard dj tool techno! beanfield is on remix duty here... and he delivers an updated modern dancefloor friendly house version with a great string section that reminds a bit of knights of the jaguar and a killer bassline after the break. check!

new bomb from west london don phil asher..... phash continues his raw fusion escapades with this recycled and well improved reggae groove made in a true restless soul spirit. together with uk singer shea soul and mc motet of the bugz crew, phil rocks the joints on this original brentford all stars sample and reboots it into the future of cyberspace. with nice punch bits like baby girl, im looking at the front door, motet slices it up and gives room for shea soul as she melts our hearts with her smooth vocal chords. and dubbed out of his mind, phil keeps going for an instrumental dub version where it (by way of the tape delay inferno) gets the true king tubby treatment.

with that old speed garage alarm and strings that will make you think of the rough early days of drum n bass, this smashing remix surely makes for a massive dancefloor hit! cut up, re paste and break it down! new york based japanese producer yellowtail, formally known as hiro awanohara, hits us up with his debut release on the raw fusion label. and what a debut its got all those little finesses we like, raw, dirty, cut and paste beats with deep and sawed up bass lines. but not only that, we also get a fresh rhyme (caribbean style!) by uk based mc juakali to make us get jump up on it! and folks, this is just the flipside?on the a side of the vinyl release we get to go back in time, michael j fox style! its like something taken out of an old dark and dirty garage club in london back in the mid 90?s when yellowtail remixes his own original grunt with this ripgroove like 4/4 production.
