lillygood party ! label is very proud to put out the volume 2 with these two attias versions unreleased before in a 12- format and officially licenced directly from the artists. already played by a few international djs, we are definitely confident that this new imprint is promising with great quality for music lovers and vinyl collectors.on the a side we have an early uk vocal house tune produced by the she project outfit and that came out only on an album in 1991. never released on a 12 inch before -mainsqueeze - edit by alex is longer than the original and more -dancefloor- orientated with extended parts and an amazing mastering to feel comfortable to play out and loud. on the b side you will find an incredible instrumental soulful deep house track from 1991 produced by t tauri new york duo. extended from the original tapes and mixed with unreleased versions , stéphane attias version is a 9min 21 extended dancefloor journey into the deepness of new york early house music sounds . these two great soulful track will definitely find place in any dj box because its really really good!

it was in february 2015 when japanese producer and sound designer kuniyuki takahashi, sometimes known as koss, releases with the ep ônewwave project æ2ö a record, that tapped some roots of his mu-sical education: new wave, german electro punk from bands like a daf, ebm from acts like front 242 as well as industrial music.

as we are beset by the darkest of seasons, let sequencias provide a score to fit the mood. presented in two parts, *hybrid furrows* marks the second transmission of the mysterious healing force project from treviso, italy. the first part is a dense, introspective overture. a ceaseless minor key drone lays the path for deep thrumming gong-like pulse and shuddering percussive textures. a song without a coda, a dream without resolution, it simply dissipates like fog—never revealing it’s center. the second part is similarly monolithic in nature, but crafted more for movement than meditation. it is vicious arpeggiated psychedelia, sharp enough to cut into the deepest recesses of your psyche. both tracks were recorded live in one take. vinyl only.

the first release on project squared in a year, *make your mess* is a three track ep by melbournes craig mcwhinney. craig has been making music for years and releasing since the late 2000s on melbourne labels such as pinksilver, melbourne deepcast and his own haul music, also on labels based further afield such as brendon moellers steadfast and speedy js electric deluxe. craigs music is techno, but it isnt preoccupied with the 4/4, employing broken, swung and rolling drum patterns. his tracks often include melodic and harmonic elements and effects reminiscent of dub techno but without conforming to the pastiche template of the sub-genre. the make your mess ep is composed of the core title track and two additional tracks that arose as interpretations and variations on the initial production: *provocation is an excuse* is more furious and loud, *disengage* is more restrained. all three are around 125 bpm and were produced in the space of a month between september and october 2012.

distorting former interpretations from the late unchained rhythms series propelling the primitive released >eno< into an entirely new dimension, resulting in what joaquin describes as a mind-fuck battle between himself and himself.

hailing from an era still ripe with optimism, nate tinsleys sole ep on music station, under the moniker nathaniel x project, is one of the dopest 12 inches of the 1990s. embodying the now fading dreams of a whole generation of club children, the veritable political program was everything deep house strove to be: aspirational, socially-involved, visceral dance music with raw sincerity and unashamed soul.

kowton and tom dicicco, residing in bristol and manchester respectively, make very different music from one another. kowtons seems to come from house, perhaps also electro and garage, often quite slow in tempo and hard to pin down to a specific genre. toms music is techno, bass heavy, melodic, textured and rooted around 125 bpm. with these distinctive styles the idea of a split ep might seem ambitious, but the result is four cohesive but different tracks that show the talents of both artists perfectly in the format of two originals on one side and two remixes of each others originals on the other. tom diciccos original is driven by a low-mid range thick stab and pounding kick drum, littered with intricate but not overbearing hi hat and snare work and some very atmospheric mid range. kowtons is subtle and sparse, low fidelity and plodding, with rattling percusion carrying the tune along. on the other side of the record, kowtons remix of toms original is driven by an enormous bassline, with an off kilter dubby feel to the slow tempo and genre defying tune. toms remix of kowton rounds off the ep with a return to stab driven techno, pulsating, dynamic and trance inducing.

we welcome aboard simina grigoriu with this fantastic 4 tracker ep, project boondocks, on frequenza! you are going to hear a lot from this exciting young djane and producer. all around support from huge names, including paul kalkbrenner!

and are a duo living in manchester, uk. they have released a split 12 inch with 16 bit on mindset in 2009, the second 12 inch on black sun records that came out recently and a couple of 12 inches on horizontal ground. they sent me various batches of tracks spanning a wide range of sounds, all rooted in techno to my ears but spanning different tempos, emphasis and mood. i selected three of those tracks to appear on this ep, ranging between 130 and 135 bpm. (project squared)

and the story goes like this: skipson (also known as knarf skipson in the past) was recording the >ks editspot pt.1<, which is based on samples from a rob mello track. as skipson is a nice fella, he sent the final version to rob. and as rob is a nice fella too, he liked it, sent one of his tracks back and this project was born. thats the easy way of sample clearing! this 10inch is about house music, as simple as that! groovy beats and fat basslines, rough and ready. limited to 500 copies - enjoy!

psq005 is furesshus follow up 12 inch release to last years trio of tracks (psq002) that garnered attention from ben klock, sigha and marcel dettmann, who continues to play out his music regularly. furesshus bleak and powerful remix of l-ow (psq003) has been criminally under appreciated, and now his second 12 inch on project squared (psq005) will showcase a more house influenced, but still techno at its core, sound with >lucid< and >all i want<.

waxs juan hoerni taking us on a trip with this lush ode to africa. >afrique< is turning heads in the deep/soulful community, earning plenty of plays and support from overseas as well. might have to do with spinnas typically sublime musical remix. great stuff from the up-and-coming la imprint chacha.
