our second release of 2013 comes from lovers rights, the glasgow based-trio featuring members of golden teacher, silk cut & dam mantle. on this, their debut release for high sheen, they have laid down 4 killer house cuts spawned from improvisation heavy, free flowing electronic jams and completed with painstaking attention to detail. from the raw, rolling subs of urn to the complex multi textured synth patterns of mt. florida, each track has its own individual identity all the while working together within the cohesive whole of the ep. this is electronic dance music built with dancefloor freakouts in mind and we absolutely love it. the 12 inch comes packaged in a twice hand screen printed, roughcast sleeve, designed by sam bellacosa.

dam mantle, aka tom marshallsay, commits the first track from his forthcoming debut album to vinyl as part of a split ep with glasgow collective lovers rights. the four-track ep is released via london-based art collective getme! lovers rights is the new project of three friends living in glasgow making music with synthesizers, they want to make you bounce in a dark room. after some time of the trio sharing ideas and equipment, this is the first of two planned releases in 2012.
