four fresh jared wilson tracks on his own label 7777 in collaboration with glasgow s dixon avenue basement jams. 4 tracks influenced by acid, house, techno, roland, make noise, michigan and the great lakes.
super rhythm trax release their first record of 2017 and it’s a return for jared wilson who steps up with four tracks of deep acidic house music. these tracks burrow away and are certified ear-worms from the opening ‘getting that feeling’ with it’s warm bassline complimented by lush pads and on the other end of the scale, the sparse menace of ‘it’s the message’, it’s another great ep from the detroit acid don.
for the 11th release 7777 presents the ghost miners remixes. for these remixes i offered each producer samples from different songs from the 2 ghost miners records. instead of doing straight forward remixes of a single song, i put forth the proposal for each artist to make their own version of a ghost miners song from scratch or using any samples they feel like. contributors include 3 of my favorite producers. 2 in demand artists, fit siegel and andreas gehm and one new comer, brian thrash. andreas gehm s version is a standard acid gehm gem. calling in the chords from the originals mixed with standard gehm acid brilliance. in fit siegel s version you ll find the perfect pure underground dance sound. featuring ray-7 on hand drums fit constructs a remix that combines elements of classic detroit and chicago sound while keeping the attitude and acid aesthetic of the original material. on the b side brian thrash, controlling his analogue arsenal, takes you on an epic acid journey traversing through the underground and space. thank you for your time. - jared wilson
detroits jared wilson provides the 10th release for super rhythm trax and it lives up to it s title.
on *plate mining* and *idea of a deep state*, jared goes in deep with lush, strings that sooth you as the 303 works it s magic underneath. while *how deep* provides a brooding acid line and works the percussion. minimal but deadly.
jared has long been on the srtx want list after proving himself as a master craftsman with a slew of classy releases on his own 7777 label. super rhythm trax is overjoyed to have him on the roster being one of the most skilled knob twiddlers out there who knows how to work it but also and perhaps more importantly, when to hold back.
more vinyl-only dopeness from colonel wrong face and the just jack crew. serving up the heat this time is berlin based producer rydim, a man who’s been stirring up dance floors and releasing records for over a decade now, both as a solo artist and also collaborating with 2 friends under a very popular, super hush-hush pseudonym (it’s a secret yeah, so we ain’t telling you nuffing!). detroit’s jared wilson brings home the bacon on remix duties, turning out a deep acid sleaze-fest for the discerning earlobe. pack your wellies cause that 303 shit is squelchy.
ltd 2014 repress !! jared wilson is keeping the acid alive in detroit. ghettoblaster is jareds second release on his label 7777. this love, is a slower deep track with haunting 303 bassllines and a a voice chanting this love. the title track, ghettoblaster is a jacking stomper for the floor. last two, is a very nice chicago influence acid beat track. our favorite is the intens this love with amazing 303 which sounds like aphex twin doing chicago house.
after an arduous preparation process, teal009 is finally ready to be shared with the world. it consists of four tracks, evenly distributed on the surface of a gorgeous phonograph record, that can also be acquired as four digital abstractions in the format of your desire.
killer debut album from jared wilson on his own label 7777. wilson states the album draws inspiration from the literal underclass. ghost miners is influenced and dedicated to all those who have worked and lived underground, from gold miners in south africa, copper miners in the 1800s in northern michigan, the mole people of nyc to orphans living under bucharest. raw acid and techno of the highest caliber as only jared wilson can do!
end of dayz is back with this powerful release by aiken. the original tracks are hard times that is a driving techno madness track, and impatient more hypnotic and deep, but intense as well. the remixes come from the hands of cleric and jared wilson. the first one is a destroyer techno bomb and the second is a 90 s flavored house gem. supported by: laurent garnier, nx1, dj deep, benjamin damage, thomas hessler
straight outta glasgow comes a fresh new label with a mindset aimed squarely at the dance floor! the first release comes from detroits acid house maestro jared wilson. three trax of raw analogue emotion, kicking off with the a-side track why trust, an epic and futuristic acid builder, cut loud for maximum effect, it gets more insane as the track progresses. on the flip we have the title track unknown desires delving into deeper, aquatic territories, followed by challenging shadows a gorgeous synth laden track reminiscent of classic mr fingers work. a great first release from a label that is guaranteed to be buy on sight. essential...
the excellent cinematic label charges into 2014 with a meaty new various artistep that features tracks by label head soy mustafa, acid man jared wilson, dub specialist xdb and relative newcomer city 2 city. this stunning ep is an essential offering for fans of genuinely raw and emotive house music that showcases four very real talents at their absolute best.
on le rire ep jared wilson (7777 - skudge / detroit) leads the way with a pest chicago-house inspired rework, devilishly and deliciously analog without whittling down to a mere old-school homage, a sort of us-acid-dubstep version of addison groove, with a taste of slacker jak-beat for the nirvana generation! a melodic decomposer, scottish dam mantle (warp - ghostly international / glasgow) deceitfully feigns to mellow with what could at first glance seem like an edit. however deep excavations into the intense choir of >voyage vers l harmonie< leads to a surreal confrontation between a slum village like beat and a post-industrial version of melody nelson. thundery atmospheres, slippery slopes… the best way to pay tribute to luc marianni. famous for his duo as well as his label syncom data, nukubus (bunker / rotterdam) is nonetheless an inspired soloist, as this breathtaking remix once again proves. the 11 minutes long krautrock tunnel leaves many envious of its authenticity and sheer technical virtuosity. this swirling reinterpretation of mariannis work manages to leave the original behind and come into its own. its out of respect for the original work that nukubus requested to be credited only as a remixer. if youve bothered to read the few lines above, please remember it is both easier and wiser to form your own opinion with the vinyl in your own two hands. please note that the distribution of these eps will be accompanied by some very limited original editions of luc mariannis vinyls
weird yet very funky & playable chicago inspired house/acid tracks by detroit s jared wilson. jacking rhythms, nasty 303 basslines and whispering voices creating this nice old-fashioned sexual energy... just how we like it. conforce on remix duties delivers a deep & moody techy house rework, perfect for the early morning hours. bomb!
remember your first time at a rave? of course you don’t. and if you do, you either did it wrong or you’re a liar. with the latest installment of the 7777 onslaught, jared wilson aims to remind you of a time you dont remember. this ep is a souvenir back in time. beyond the zero and beyond the one and back into the analog bringing back memories you never had and experiences you never felt. paris massacre is reminiscent of a time when function mattered more than form and fashion, when sound systems and no lighting took precedence over state of the art fashion shows and laptop djs. its not nostalgic by any stretch of the word, though. how can one be nostalgic for a time they cant recall? the flip of the record is the wonderful >scmocid<, a wonderful reexamination of what it means to work a 303 to near death.
the inaugural release on 7777 instantly recalls the sound of the legendary gherkin and target imprints from chicago. but rather than spawn direct imitation, a flare of detroit is gently added to the equation. an expansive remix is added on the b-side by the acid powerhouse production duo tnt (tadd mullinix and todd osborn), whose releases on their eponymous imprint have been highly sought after. a brutal working of the a-sides >drug related stories<, this epic has already been well received by the patrons of late night/early morning clubs in detroit.
mark du mosch, credit 00, william the squid, jared wilson and eluize join on pt. 2 of this year s war child fundraiser from craigie knowes. acid, house, disco-vibes and dreamy electro sounds across this awesome 5 track ep - the second instalment of the two-part series.
“we are what you think we are” is a 3 part compilation celebrating 10 releases from new york-based label and promoters lost soul enterprises. the groupings of artists on each 12” represent slightly different sonic territory, from darkwave and synthpop, to acid and electro, to industrial techno, all of which together have come to define the identity of the label and the community surrounding its legendary parties.
i’ve been wanting to do a release from cliff lothar for some time. finally, i got him to send me some old electro tracks that i just took a liking too. very obvious with their influences. these tunes pay homage to rather than mime these traditions. todd osborn and i provided an acid dance mix to round out the release..” - jared wilson

legowelt, as nacho patrol, is back on minimalrome with the single panter 777, already included in the limited edition tape of his lp the maze of violence, produced in 2008. the track is an explosion of wahwah funk riffs and juicy analog synthesizers and it comes on the b side with a powerful acid remix by jared wilson from motor city. don t miss it, it s on mrx - patiendum est limited series.

deconstructed ebm from the nous affiliate spoiled drama kicks off the new science fiction compilation - 10 tracks of crazed machine grooves further diversifying the science fiction’s exploration into synthetics. the opener driven simply by an obnoxiously saturated digital drum machine and a mechanical body music bass loop simultaneously hints to late 80s darkside chicago roots with hard flanged hi-hats and a detuned string machin

at the end of 2006, erol alkan was at a crossroads. hed been voted dj of the year by mixmag. he dmade landmark, expectation-defying remixes for bands he loved: a crunching glam racket reworking of do you want to for franz ferdinand, a wonderfully wistful reinterpretation of hop chips boy from school, a psychedelic take on scissor sisters i dont feel like dancing and a genre-defining reworking of justices waters of nazereth.
