welcome to the next vinyl record on kickmasomaass records and we are back with next edition of hardgroove planet the second one. the only one real hardgroove techno sound on this planet released on vinyl! all others are only cheese! as always we bringing you also this time four tracks from creme de la creme of hardgroove techno producers. the first one chewy martins has delivered us track called dark shadows and i think that this one is one of his best tracks he has made. excellent dark synths with hard tribal beat and heavy kicks. a dream of every hardgroove fan and one must have for every hardgroove party. second track is from well known andy bsk called machine. this very poor producer from slovakia has finally delivered us one real hardgroove track that has a potential to destroy every club. his beat and sound is so catchy that every hardgroove fan will love this track. the next track on hardgroove planet 2 is from dj gumja called noelom. this slovenian dj and producer has delivered us a track with real hardgroove heart. great tribal beat filled up with a catchy vocal. great work from him! the last track and a grand finale for our hardgroove planet 2 is a track called moon from recycle bot. all fans who is know this producer knows that he is more hardtechno or techno producer as hardgroove but his track moon has something from hardgroove sound too and thats why we have added this track to our compilation. great hard beat with tribal percussions, dark synths and heavy kicks. so thats all for now. hope you all will love this new vinyl record and if you want to show some love then spread a word to your friends about this new release. thanks for all support. enjoy!

meandyou return with their eighth instalment of the collective s record label, this time presenting arrange ep by meandyou co-founder herron. after recent appearences alongside joy orbison on hinge finger with their collobrative project c/or and solo outings on jheri tracks and workshop records, the meandyou co-founder returns to his own imprint for a 5 track ep, showcasing his unique approach to club music.

nested structure is the first great circles release from artists outside of philadelphia. thrive are tetsuya yoshida and hitoshi kojima. they both grew up in the north kanto area of japan. they first met at the club run by tetsuya yoshida called sound a base nest, which is known as having the best sound system in the north kanto area. in 2007, the duo started their dj / producing unit thrive. previous releases have included a split 12inch with keia yano for japanese label struct, and recent solo releases by hitoshi for always human tapes and for his own label ambivalent deviation. this record almost didnt happen! — tetsuya and hitoshi were picking up great circles records in japan and, having periodically communicated with each other about music, they sent us the struct 12inch to check out. while cleaning out the back of the car a few months later, the presumably empty record mailer was about to land in the recycle bin when we fortunately discovered a demo cd of unreleased thrive material inside. we drove around listening to it and week later we agreed to release a 12inch. the music on the nested structure 12inch is dark, foreboding, even outwardly threatening. its hypnotic, textural and rhythmically complex.

butane continues to push his sound well beyond the frontiers of trendy dance music with >we are all cyborgs now<, his latest tour-de-force on his own alphahouse records imprint. apparently not interested in assimilation for the sake of popularity, he rather blazes his own wide-cut path towards artistry with two future-techno cuts rife with pointed commentary on the nature of todays dance music scene. >everybodys talkin< is a mutant hybrid of styles for the nostalgic types. latin percussion and bin-busting bass mingle with an ethereal voice lamenting the passing of the good old days. throw in one utterly twisted xylophone note that might just send a few partygoers over the edge for good, and you have an open air after-hours anthem in the making. >hey hipster< is a not-so-subtle jab at the newjack hipsters of the dance world who seem content to recycle old ideas, as long as they think they look cool doing it. deceptively simple, but carrying a heavy hook, the track features a grooving bassline, speaker busting synth stabs, and a brooding male voice admonishing these party parasites for their shallow ways. listen up kids, this is the sound of the underground. dont be fooled, this kind of music is best heard in big dark clubs where mirrors arent there for checking out your trendy haircut.

it marks the long awaited reunion of electronic pioneers vince clarke (erasure/ yazoo/ depeche mode) and martin l. gore (depeche mode), who have joined forces for the first time in over thirty years to craft an album which, demonstrating their mutual love of electronic music. after initial tentative discussions, and a meeting at short circuit presents mute festival in london, where they both performed, these two influential musicians and songwriters, began work on the 10-track album, working in a typically unique way with the pair working alone in their respective studios, communication only via email, exchanging files until the albums was ready. the album includes the recent 12inch ep1 / spock, described by the quietus as one of the best tracks of 2011, plus the forthcoming ep 2 / single blip. the album was produced by vince clarke and martin l. gore and mixed by the influential californian electronic artist Überzone / q.

fantastic and incredibly rare afro-disco album from 1978. originally released on the seminal french disco label barclay, this album seamlessly blends elements of african, afrobeat, funk and disco styles, with segments continually morphing and evolving into new tracks. irresistibly funky and percussive, this album’s drumming patterns and melodies grandually hypnotise the listener, with only outbreaks of african chanting breaking up the grooves. the b-side is effectively one long drum track broken down into 7 segments that never drop a beat. this album really takes the listener on a journey to africa, via 1978 new york, and is a real one of a kind. it’s also a samplers dream with no end of complex drum patterns and basslines to recycle.

third release for fabio giannellis label, this time from the italian santorini, that proposes his next strike after having released eps on labels like upon you, bond and his own recycle records. to complete the release there are two very good remixes from uner & coyu (dyinamic, great stuff) and ues (resopal / blabla). have a good listen!
