after chris carrier�s amazing >addicting game< ep mouche returns with another strong ep. the second release of the label brings a varied ep full of bouncy, driving deep techno freshly cooked by finnish native tm shuffle. while document4 on a1 is a driving deep excursion into snowy landscapes of middle finland, the powerful chord-driven weapon drumman dub on a2 brings a lot of groove to all the dancefloors out there. the b-side takes a more relaxed stance: alone in dub (b1) - created with longtime-friend lauri leino � combines icy soundscapes with a deep dub bass. that mixture heats up things slowly and steadily. ruutana by night (b2) rounds up the package with moody, chilling beats and echoes floating around.

limited 2018 repress ! before producing on roulé, dj falcon worked in a&r department at virgin. in 1999 he released his first ep (on roulé) and produced a remix of cassius� �la mouche� which is an all-time classic now. one year later, he started working with thomas bangalter on a track called �together�. two years later, the second release �so much love to give� of the duo appeared, which also remained the last release of dj falcon for a very long time. after 10 years of releasing nothing, dj falcon finally made a comeback in 2012 with several remixes such as justice� �new lands�, alex gopher�s �hello inc.� and alan braxe�s �time machine�. in 2013 he reunited with thomas bangalter to release the track �contact� on the daft punk album �random access memories� together with guy-manuel de homem-christo.

2008 mini lp sleeve reissue of this album from serge gainsbourgs right-hand man jean-claude vannier, originally released in 1972. recorded during the same sessions as gainsbourgs highly acclaimed masterpiece melody nelson it follows in a similar avant-garde rock-opera vein. lenfant assasin des mouches (the child fly-killer) is a supernatural tale written by gainsbourg depicting the journey of the young child travelling through a nightmarish -fly kingdom-. vannier narrates the story with sparse music concrete sounds coupled with choirs, funky beats, cowbells, wah-wah guitars and ethnic strings. comparisons could be made with some of frank zappas hot rats material and alain goraguers creepy le planet sauvge.
