pete tong made the new single from eats everything his essential new tune at miamis winter music conference. the duster delivers a rousing and infectious siren call, loaded with the trademark pace and fervour that weve come to expect from eats everything and continues an unstoppable streak following the release of his recent fabric 86 compilation and a summer of festival slots and shows around the world.

this new ep is no exception as this time he draws out immersive pads and understated melody over the top of percussive grit, in parts channeling some of that irresistible autonomous africa flavour. the release has already garnered support djs and radio alike with jamie xx playing out reflex on both his recent boiler room and bbc radio 1 guest mix, while another early unveiling of pitch drift dropped recently on benji bs show.

second release of the wild division records signed by duster traum (white rose) on his second release and remixed by miki craven and spear. a1 is the original track straight to hell signed by duster traum with a nice simple and minimal bass line and some hypnotic detroit sounds the reminds some of the markus suckut productions. in a2 we find miki craven with a dark remix. powerful production with huge space reverbs effects, nice stereo image. banging!

first reference of the label white rose (part of the dead rose records project) that aims at the hypnotic detroit sound of the mid 90s and also the dub flavours of the mid 90s berlin sound. the ep is signed by duster traum on his first release and miki craven.

duster has the classical soukie & windish groove with a great atmosphere and cool vocals. flott is a perfect summer groover with a fresh sound and a great bassline. hamburg/berlin based soukie & windish released one of their first 12-inches on 200 records – the ep elsewhere (200 005 – march 2010). they have released a lot of records afterwards and shaped their unique style. now they are back on 200 records with two superb tracks

accompanying the miraculous larj edition by arto mwambe, this piece of vinyl features two of the previously unreleased trinkets that were shining through their unconventional narrative of an arto mwambe live set. you get their typical fudge and the duos crush on melodies with duster fc, while one lonely knight can easily be interpreted as a bow to another convincing pair: paris grey and kms wouldnt feel out of place here...
