glyn bigga bush has been producing electronic and sample-based music since the early 90s when he formed rockers hi fi, going on to release numerous albums. since the turn of the century he has produced and dj d as biggabush as well as various side projects such as lightning head (sonar kollektiv), the dandelion set (buried treasure) and the magic drum orchestral (tru thoughts). biggas latest project sunken foal stories represents a departure from much of his other work in that it is not primarily based on beats. instead, his working method was to go with fascinating samples, accidental juxtapositions and irregular loops inspired by pioneers of sound such as faust and the audio experiments of julian house as well as early stereo test records, soundtracks and library music.

the mighty antidandruff returns after few years of sleep. this time its a bit more conceptual ep than usually. ep starts with a moody sandwell mix of >kulenty< (released on pvc8) produced probably by regis in the berlins sandwell district busy studios. the other 3 tracks are by rumenige & loktibrada resp. loktibrada alone, with each track the tempo is rising up a bit and its all club techno, of course.

estonian duo kgb step up for their debut release on dub police and they certainly arent pulling any punches. the production partnership hit you with two cuts of pure dance floor energy and impact that display their versatility and uncanny knowledge of how to get a crowd going. if you dont know about kgb, you better get to know, as they are quickly establishing themselves as one of the rising stars in underground dance music. with plenty of tricks up their sleeves, there will be no stopping them in 2011!
