after the huge >score for direction< success with label owner pär grindvik stockholm ltd presents a new swedish talent for the world. simon haydo is a really close friend of pär grindvik and the stockholm ltd family. for several years, simon has been playing records among the high end clubs in his hometown of stockholm, sweden. a while ago he finally got himself some studio equipment and has been asking for production tips from time to time, but when we received his demo we realized that he didnt really needed them. simon knocked us right out of our chairs! we rarely get demos this emotional and we didnt know that simon would pass us one as we had not heard a bleep of his music until that day. most of the demos you get are from people trying to sound like someone else, but simon has a sound of his own. we are really proud to have simon haydo joining the label and his first record >different shades of white< will follow us forever! >different shades of white< has got great support all over the world and will be released on stockholm ltd, watch out!

following the big success of their debut release >metro gold< berlin based resident dj of bar 25 red robin and format b member jakob hilden have come up with a very hitty and unorthodox big production as a follow up. the two club tracks of the upcoming >tales ep< are straightforward and reduced to the essentials. made out of pure power. >lazy jack< the a-side is another monster of a track. it holds the dark berlin side of techno, with its droning noises and delays. it reminds us a bit of chicago techno house at its best, but this is just one facetted of the track. it gets its other enthusiastic crazy over the top and emotional side from the whistle melody which sets in half way through the track. this leading sequenced is such a catchy tune that its sure to be heard in all mayor berlin clubs and eventually all around the globe. the b-side track >tin soldier< is a marching techno tune, with a cool slight swing programming in the rhythm and drugged out chords. creating a ghost town atmosphere, transforming the club into another >futureworld<

already support by james holden, ripperton, anthony collins, sian. nhar has been releasing stuff since 2005 on labels like mobilee, plak and modelisme. with dont forget to lick, the frenchman has conjured up a real booty shaker from the depths of his hard drive for meerestief. summery drumming on the other hand by lucy, comes across tender and almost fragile. the artist hails from paris and released his formidable debut glass computer on rippertons perspective label. his contribution for meerestief is a fabulous track with dreamy pads and surreal sound, riding on a clear kick drum. it is a movie sound track and a small symphonie a the same time!
