ok so heres the last installment in the creme jak series. we feel there s not much to add to this concept and over the past few years this kinda musick has found the foothold it lacked when we started this lil enterprise in the heydayz of beige vanilla minimal. in any case it seems fitting to go full circle and draw the curtains with an epic disco anthem that might not be jak perse, but at least coulda woulda shoulda been caned back in the dizzies in all the places that mattered ese! you see, house is a feeling and blablabla.. so here s a final one up your purist backsides as this mystery strap-on crew cuts and tape edits its way through a molten bucket of swiss cheese and ends up with a dead hooker in the trunk in the process. limited 250 copies sticker ish. no repress, no digital, this is the end..

when it hits there is no escaping this deeeeeep creepy crawly mind meld. it engulfs you, then sucks you into a womblike state, only to spit you back out onto the dancefloor where youll be jakking your ass off!

boy we couldnt resist hooking up with one of the youngest and brightest proteges in the west-coast undergound to slap out some crazy remixes of the bsu ep for yall. who is he? why, a made up sound ofcourse, or 2562 for short. steamrolling his way onto the scene in 2007, 2562 has been a mainstay from the get go, with amazing production skills and a keen ear for what rocks the house. in a very short time the 2562 name became almost synonimous for dubstep. but luckily for us theres the made up sound guise to provide us with a more mutant hybrid of slamming jak-step (and remember where you read that first). so take your pick, heres one for the heads and one for the bodies.

we had some unfinished business, so after long deliberation her is the return of creme jak! jtc (aka james t cotton) opens this ep with a devastating 70s disco/funk/jak hybrid, hypnotizing crowds with a repetitive funk guitar and throwing them into a jakking frenzy with a steamrolling basskick counterpoint. simply jak-tastic! followed by a silky chicago dub jakker for the comedown and were ready for 2am/fm. or are we? these two cats rave up the place with some of their patented deep rolling chicago-house influenced trax, but spice it up with a thick-slick muddy bassline before erupting like old yeller. top

finally a full ep by d marc cantu (1/2 of 2am/fm and under other aliases involved in collabos with traxx). technically its the follow up to his cult hit no control (creme jak 02, today a highly sought after 12inch) and in good h-h-h-house fashion this ep contains a ball busting jtc remix of this anthem. but the centre piece must be the title track one of the most emo-simplo jak trax weve ever heard here at the office. starting out simple enough with a single finger synth line (like the musings of a retarded secretary), it mutates into a big wailing distorted saxophone (or a mating whale, who knows?), this puppy will fill your room and throw everybody into an instant k-hole. hey, if that dont sound appealing check the soundclips for proof, its pure liberation... nay rebirth! more floor destroying crazyness on the flipside, but were all out of steam describing it. jak jak jak
