vnl003 comes as the result of the one year and half collboration between the athenian artists sawf and anfs, under the name vofa. stripped down heavy beats for the broken hearts.

being the second release of the athenian label vanila - this time coming from the man behind the brand, anfs - vnl002 includes 3 original tracks characterized by low frequencies, industrial soundscapes and hard-hitting drums, all structured in four-to-the-floor sequences.

the seventh modal analysis release comes from athenian producer and dj, anfs. following his remix for kondaktors signal 1, anfs returns to the label with his debut release, ground, a four track ep which consists of original material. borrowing sounds from early twentieth century folk greek culture, the ep is dominated by a rhythmic canibalistic spirit and a noisy distorted cue. ground 1 functions as an introduction, or rather ones initiation to the mystic rituals that prevail. the artist uses drones and distorted textures which increase in ground 2 and are backed up by drums that beat in a hard-and-slow ethnic tonality. ground 3 reveals a paroxysm of emotions which comes as a result from the combination of basslines and vocals that create a complex and twisted vortex. the trip ends with ground 4, a more stripped down monotonic ensemble that serves as an epilogue and a catharsis.

this is the first anfrix records vinyl. characterised by its tech house style, ideal for the dance floor, this release has four tracks by reknown artists like groovebox, who is currently in the top of tech-house lists with tracks like brooklyn and gangster. outcode, famous for his tracks mizu and amitola, is also featured. on the b side you will find two tracks with tribal rythms by djcare, known for his tribal tracks which incorporate latin sounds, and djfist with his logical disorder, showing us a fresh and modern rythm loaded with energy for the party.
