amir alexander was one of plan b recordings’ first recruits. from his first submission, we knew his sound was perfect for plan b recordings. “sonic subversion” was released as a digital ep in 2010 and now receives a proper vinyl release. we feel these tracks sound even better now. their content is as timeless as ever. they have been slightly tweaked and re-touched by amir for this release, making them perhaps even more sonically powerful than the originals. three tracks of bubbly, banging goodness from one of our earliest comrades.

great album featuring some hot electronix! hailing from spain this is the first release on this d.i.y. label! intense uncompromising tracks of which the a side is rooted in classic detroit techno and electro. the b-side takes the listeners into orbit with some amazing spaced outed tracks. a pleasure to welcome this new label that delivers a first run of only 200 numbered copies on heavyweight vinyl! lets hope they will manage to do a repress at some point because this is too goo do share with only 200 people!

tejada and humphrey made their debut together late in 09 with their >marooned ep<. >assimilation< continues the theme of being marooned in los angeles. the four works compiled here are the result of the best moments out of 20 recording sessions. the music is for the most part assembled with analog instruments with humphrey and tejada bringing their modular gear together for the sessions. humphreys knowledge of synths and programming is quite extensive. he until recently helped operate la based big city music, a dealer of modular and boutique synthesizers.
