clone v2.0! clone back in its new form.. a series of specialized series dedicated to different functionalities, emotions and styles of electronic music. the clone loft series will be releasing more traditional house and ny influenced disco for the smaller and more intimate club settings. first of reggie dokes with probably his best release so far! a-side is a dirty but massive house track that goes down very well in any house set! at first notice this might be the main track... which most likely it is for more peak-time use... but actually our favorite is the fierce i wear the mask track on the flipside. this track has a nice jumpy beat, very light... but such a balanced rhythm that it will grab one for sure. on top it has layers of strings and a bouncy bassline and very staccato keys... and everything is so well balanced, so sensitive that it really gives us goosebumps all over! it reminds even to some derrick may tracks where he managed to make his songs emotional and fragile with the same kind of timbre and hidden energy (but then less 909 orientated and such...) it has that force, that gentle force of magic that frees that inner energy, that inner power that makes you wanna dance. what a stunning track and what a strong release by mr dokes. essential!

the follow-up to last years deep in need, the haunting me ep brings three new soulful and sleazy tracks from dirty bee. since house has been a buzzword for the last year or two, old-timer dirty bee shows the kids that its possible to give a shout-out to the old school, while still finding plenty of room for innovation. the title track, featuring bees friend luther on vocal duties, brings a paranoid vibe that crescendos with fluttering chimes and a baltimore breakdown. on the flipside, things get a bit filthy with out of body: pounding bass with conga accents keep the tempo, while a drunken, off-kilter saxophone solo tries to find its way home. finally, the snarling, electrified bounce of work for me closes out the ep. spread the house gospel!

first up on the relaunch is great label friend justin critchlow aka the soundiggers, after his superb release on shrewd music he now returns with a blinding ep. all three tracks are peak time disco funk infused party tunes!! track a1 pop music’,has justin’,s trademark crisp beats & percussion with funky dubbed vocals and rolling bass it’,s a great start to the ep. up next a2 sling shot blues’,is a great modern take on disco funk and the bass and guitar riffs are seriously infectious, plus with the classic vocals we think this track will just blow up on the dance floors worldwide!! b1 welcomes back label veteran da sunlounge’,to remix pop music’,- simon has done a perfect job in remixing the track with his grittier bass, and a more dirtier deep sound it just balances out the release perfectly!! last but not least is audio fruits’, and is yet another blinder from justin, with awesome programming and again some groovy as fooooke disco filtering, the dance floors will take the roof off with this track!!
