phonogenics >postcard< is slow burner, building and rising to a eventual climax of melancholic underwater deepness. this song will no doubt be played by those in the later time slots and anyone who wants to add a little journey to their mixes. our main man dex aka dave barker is back with another slice of some quality melodic quirky goodness. >yikes!< has a very chopped up funk/soul feel mixed with solid house beats. studio trickery and a hidden japanese opera helps the track evolve from its soulful beginning to another world entirely. finally, we are very pleased to bring you the first of many musical efforts from amantu wilde. not much is known about amantu as he is a bit of a recluse and does not offer up much information about himself. >g-g-got my eyes on you< is a very retro sounding track reminiscent of some classic new wave jams. pseudo industrial percussion and excellent filter work make this track something to remember. something strange for sure but we think people will like the break from the mod rn sounds

reeko is one of those straight techno heroes that are still bringing the goods! in stead of switching to minimal like the most of the old heroes he stayed true to the scene and delivers! another slab of true straight techno for the heads! big kicks and nasty soundscapes makes this a record not be taken lightely.

waldhaus and x-tension both deliver two tracks for the 13th release on this hardtechno imprint. for those who like it rough: this is what youre looking for !! waldhaus previously released work on crowbar, artillery and toolterror and is obviously very talented and upcoming in the scene. x-tension (aka thomas nordmann) is known from releases onartillery and madhouse - still going strong with this release on combat skills.

virgil enzinger, breaking through with his amazing record for chris liebing s clr back in 2006, starts up the zerocol-series with a one-sided hammer named black, and there is truly no other word which could describe it better. a slowly developping arrangement on 126 bpm creates a dark atmosphere while the grooves combine straight drumming with 6/8 shaking elements. for those of you who prefer it dark, but high end, this is the record.

the title track made a brief appearance last year, garnering spins from the likes of fergie on radio 1. its now primed for full release, retaining its cool stuttering bleeped out hook atop a strident bassline thats designed to make sure no one can physically stand still, whether they want to or not. its also catchy as fuck. mike healey drops a cleaner remix that techs it out some, the first third or so of the track just twitters, phased sounds and hints at whats to come. its 1.00am central trip material until that bass finally implodes. are we alone? is a deeper closing cut, with suitably zoned out vocal samples and more electro tech shenanigans, making for a near essential ep for those who like it dark and trippy.
