what s in the du name? 030303 records asked three of their favourite prod ucers with matching names to du an ep together: ann harbour s d marc cantu and mark du mosh & paul du lac, both from the dutch harbour city rotterdam. the result is dynamite! a1-mine motion- is a monsterous jacker in the rawest form how only mr cantu can du! on the b side mark du mosh takes off with a flight to -bermuda- with a hot & steamy roaring electronic beast sitting on the wing of the plane and causing some heavy turbulence. fortunatly du mosh keeps us flying high with some deep emotional synths. last but not least paul du lac delivers a dark psychedelic techtool called -beta rhythm-. a track that creeps under your skin as a virus, causing some serious haziness from noding your head. be aware that this record will appear on vinyl only!

serie limitee records is celebrating its 3rd anniversary with its 8th release on its parent label. a good occasion to welcome pascal viscardi, a promising swiss talent supported by mike huckaby, who signs here his first track using the legendary sp1200...and that s a groovy one. also, first release ever for sixon, sean dixon s alter ego, the manager of final chapter delivers here a sexy hypnotic bomb. already featured on sl007, it s the second release on serie limitee for neuronphase. it seems like winter has been rude in estonia, which is good for us, as it gave the artist more time to produce some deep n raw music which perfectly fits the label. and to close this ep, a beautiful track produced by japanese producer tominori hosoya, aka tomi chair. a pure pearl of deepness which takes the listener to an imaginary dancefloor on a desert sand beach until the early morning. as always, expect a mysterious bonus track by the label s manager, monsieur cedric.

editor s kutz is here, right on summertime wearing it s volume 8 swimsuit, while the label boss seems to be on vacation too, since this is the first record of the series with no -vinyladdicted- track included. a side begins with the silver rider and his blue-sky edit on an odyssey s hit, giving to it a more uptempo and danceable character, while the italian duo marsupials drops a heavenly disco-house track with a chunky beat and a beautifully loading string line, called just like heaven. both sun-drenched, with vibes melting down slowly onto the sand like the butter under the hot sun! flip-side could be the sunset side with stereo 12 da flow closing your afternoon session or, why not, kicking things off for a late night party! with a deep and soulful take on an ashford & simpson s classic track, this one can stick in your mind for long, while napoleon s luv passage has a hypnotic process with repetitive loops and fat kicks that put you in a sweet nu-disco trance. but, beware, there s a break waiting for you!

hot off a couple of 12” from topher horn, rocksteady disco follows up with its first compilation featuring a heap of heavily sampled originals from more well-known editors. pontchartrain leads the release off with a summer-inspired aural prozac number, just in time for this june release. next up is notorious detroit editor lafleur, busting out this original milky-smooth detroit boogie house production. a slight little rearrangement from rocksteady disco label boss peter croce makes this one a bit smoother for the djs. lyon, france’s g2s kicks off the flip with a big-bottomed stomper reminiscent of some mcde ‘raw cuts’. pontchartrain book-ends this release with a track that puts the ‘rocksteady’ in rocksteady disco, with heavy analog-meets-electro drum programming and complete with pontchartrain on vocoder duties. hand numbered edition of 500 copies with dl code.
