spaciousness is the first volume in a series of releases that seeks to explore the connections, the overlaps, the roots and the future of a music variously referred to as ambient, deep listening, new age and even post classical. the double vinyl release comes in a gatefold sleeve with download code included.

arcarsenal duo is back with their first ever full length production in 7 years of making music together. the album is a collection of intuitive jams crossing over the codes of electronic music typologies. with this set of hallucinatory psychedelic electronica tracks evolving over complex patterns and grooves, and sprinkled with pinches of krautrock and folk aesthetics, arcarsenal is here once again blurring boundaries and proving that their world is located in an ever expanding universe.

roots go deep are a label devoted to releasing music by south african artists. since 2012 they ve released seven eps by names like d.nel, makhen gigga and label owners ofuren and fred buddah. now that they ve established themselves in the digital realm of music, roots go deep arrive on the physical medium with a split ep of deep and dubby sounds from ofuren and fred buddah. the two provide two collaborative tracks in -floral synergy- - a woozy house jam in line with mcde s raw cuts - and -do deejays dream of dancing sheep-, a sublime mix of subaqueous chords, chilled out drums and touch of acid. buddah just about goes ambient on his solo track -ragan- while ofuren keeps it heads down and uber-dub on -ripples through reflection-. roots go deep indeed.

brooklyn-based producer, composer, pianist, dj and live musician taylor mcferrin is set to release his first full length lp, early riser, in june 2014 on flying lotus brainfeeder record label. taylors musical style is equally influenced by the legends of 60s/70s soul, the kings of the modern beat generation, golden era hip hop, free form jazz and electronic music. by playing all of the instruments on his productions, while also relying heavily on sampling and chopping up his live takes, he has found a sound that seamlessly bridges myriad musical worlds and draws the listener into a constantly shifting audio soundscape. the vinyl lp comes with digital download code.
