man-of-the-moment tiagos new project i-boat captain arrives on is it balearic..? recordings! >slower< is a beautifully smooth & laid back synth journey with added guitar melodies weaving a web of eastern influence while dipping its toes into subtly psychedelic waters. this is sunshine grooving at its best. the backwoods (dj kent) turn in a truly mesmerising remix. hypnotic and dreamy but with added 4/4 kick, this is mellow acid house done exceptionally well.

b1 - closer: another super track. heavy beat once it drops, nice deep bass, shuffling percussion and a brilliant vocal sample.
b2 - no you: the heavy beat theme continues on this track, nice bongo percussion and bass line is equally as heavy as the beat. cool chopped vocal sample, deep disco house at its very best!

oslo says hello to 2011 with a great ep again from one of the best electronic producers at the moment, guillaume & the coutu dumonts. we all know his eps on oslo, so we can be sure that he will not dissapoint. on the a side we find >praise to the beat maker< an amazing track with lyrics by dave aju, you will never take this track out of your mind. the rhythm is 100% guillaume. the second track of the ep >promess-lovin< gives the main melody to the release, and with some female vocals remains us one of the best old school house periods. the last track >all you have to do< is a very slow and musical track, wich keeps the line of the ep and at the same time add something different.
