this record has been in the making for some time. originally, hott 22 created a track called, &#147,i feel love&#148,. bonnie bailey heard the song, loved the track, and wanted to write lyrics to it. bonnie and eric kupper went into the studio with hott 22&#146,s track to record and produce bonnie&#146,s lyrics for it. after we heard bonnie&#146,s performance, we were extremely excited, and asked the legendary eric kupper to create a new remix. shortly after, we asked thomas gold to work his magic on the track and he created some real gems to an already solid package. finally, the alter ego live element had to get in on the project as well, and produced two more floorfillers.

since the akai s1000 came onto the market in 1988, loletta holloway and love sensation in particular must be one of the most sampled voices of the last 20 years. cevin fisher anthemic treatment of it is back on playlists too, toughened up with a trademark tribal dub from dj chus, with housier takes on the b-side. a very big set of mixes, this will seriously move floors for a long to come, simply awesome.

muzik mix tape winner alison marks has come a long way, outlasting the magazine that initially brought her to prominence. john tejada is one of her many admirers and no doubt, this ep will win her many more. very cool headphone house that translates perfectly to the deeper floors around 3 a.m. as well as a great soundtrack to the all back to mine sessions- a deep and meaningful tech lesson.

panthers used to play aggressive post hardcore before their style morphed into a somewhat sober version of anthemic stoner rock. they released albums on both troubleman and vice records. goblin city is the lead track from their second record, the trick. holy ghost! requested to work on goblin city. they then delivered one of the most relentlessly snappy disco dubs in quite some time. panthers also asked run roc to do a mix of the song and he came up with an excellent old school acid house version. this single is a true dfa family affair, bringing together good friends, musicians, and creative allies from the past and for the future. family reunions are not supposed to be this much fun.
