royal dusts self titled debut album has already become an underground favorite and immediately following the release were the rumored whispers of a remix ep coming this fall. well the time has come to put some truth to the matter and proudly announce the royal dust remixes ep featuring mixes from two of the industries most acclaimed artists: ricardo villalobos and the brandt, bauer, frick ensembles paul frick.

venezuelan-born miguel toro is an impulse generator: a versatile drummer and percussionist. rhythm is his motor, but rhythm here does not just denote a motion within a certain beat. rather it means a fundamental, ever changing pulse, vibration, resonance. inspired by aesthetic forms as intense and diverse as the jungle of sounds ascending from his royal dust, miguel toro succeeds in giving them an extraordinary voice.

after an acclaimed serie of remixes on labels like freerange, fresh meat, composite & komplex de deep in 2011, dairmount is back on his own imprint with dust devil. recorded this summer between gothenburg & berlin with nowakowski, the swedish hotshot of the label, dust devil emphasized strongly dairmount s love for house music infused of hip hop attitude. the motto is clear: reduced number of elements, samples only, maximum impact. dairmount, who has always been strongly influenced by hip hop production techniques, had lots of fun to collaborate with nowakowski, another strong hip hop influenced tweaker. following a busy dj schedule that brought him in the last 18 months across scandinavia, us, turkey, france, holland & latvia between others, dairmount is the true soul & ambassador of the label that he created in 2009.

this new outstanding enliven music release, called „the dust“, is a cooperation of the three french whizz kidsdop andenliven deep acoustics. they were throwing the old method of original+remix overboard and were developing two completly independent tracks which share the same underlying theme. the dop interpretation comes with a chorus which spins a web of harmony around the listener, the rest of the track is pure groove which leaves no quiet legs, the cherry on the cake is the charming and very sexy vocal by jonathan. the enliven deep acoustics version transports a unique atmosphere by a proper portion of funk. like a diamond on the ring
