lucky light ltd is vinyl only techno label founded in belgrade, serbia by a young talent speedy. his coworker on this first release, somebody who is known to worldwide audience, based in berlin, alexander kowalski is opening this release with his remix of speedys track false theory.

this is the 3rd release for the labels 10 years anniversary release cycle. mixed and edited by chris liebing himself these releases are taken exclusively, and are released individually, as a five part set in the run up to the 12 track album release. the first track to drop on the a-side is by none other than chris liebings closest friend, collabs sessions partner, and studio mentor, speedy j.

the album compilation features 25 tracks of both new and previously unreleased material, offering a widely eclectic mix of ambient, techno, idm, broken beat and drum & bass from a range of well-respected and established artists who ve pushed the musical envelope and have inspired a whole generation of music enthusiasts. the tracks have been mastered by matt colton at alchemy mastering to ensure the highest playback quality.
in addition to the music, de:tuned has worked with designer kevin foakes from openmind (aka strictly kev, dj food from ninja tune) who has translated the diverse musical theme of the album into stunning graphic artwork.

droid recordings has always focused on presenting domestic talent. the latest eps contributors are no exception. kyle geiger of drumcode fame teams up with longtime collaborator and friend bobby dowell. they both reside in the technos simmering hotbed, the american midwest. they are among north americas chosen few still representing techno in the place where they were raised and influenced rather then adding themselves to the over-saturated european scene.
