der norwegische electro-pop-künstler gundelach hat bereits mit seiner debüt-ep und dem song games feat. ary auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. sein verletzlicher singer/songwriter-style auf soft elektronischem klangteppich lässt vergleiche mit james blake oder jamie woon durchaus zu. das debütalbum -baltus- nahm er zwischen oslo und london mit knut sævik (mungolian jetset), john calvert (ghostpoet, nao) und oyvind mathisen (cezinando, nils bech) auf. erste singleauskopplung ist das wundervolle duck hunting, ein analog elektronisches stück in nordic-noir atmosphäre, eindrucksvoll abgerundet mit gundelachs bon iver-eskem falsetto.

schlachthofbronx conclude their haul & pull up series with another strong statement of an ep. in their trademark hybrid style, the munich bass boys showcase their versatility from writing hypnotic and sensual electronic melodies all the way to the ruffest club weapons. keeping close to their roots, all of these tunes have been extensively tested on big soundsystems to make sure they make a lasting impression.

der zweite teil der “haul & pull up”-ep-trilogie, die ihre vollendung mit dem album “haul & pull up” im april 2017 finden soll, erscheint - wie auch dessen vorgänger - als limitierte 12” mit vollfarbcover und banderole. das vinyl des münchener dj- und produzenten-duos enthält drei vielgestaltige, mit prominenten mitstreitern eingespielte clubtracks, die zwischen grime, dancehall, dub und techno lästige genrebegrenzungen verwischen und mit gut getimtem groove zum subsonischen bassinferno ansetzen. den auftakt macht das stück “goodbye”. bei der kollaboration mit dem noise-rap-king gonjasufi handelt es sich um ein außerordentlich dunkel gefärbtes acid-drone, das auf gitarrenwänden und lärmenden drums reitet. “pop off” setzt über footwork-beats und zeitlupen-bässen die vokalakrobatik des langjährigen schlachthofbronx-mitstreiters doubla k in szene. deutlich sportlicher geht es auf dem mit warrior queen realisierten track “u mad” zu, der mit mindestens 160 bpm die gelüste der uptempo-headbanger unter uns befriedigt.

pablo bolivar, part of pulshar (desolat) makes a remake of the original track with a unique dub techno touch, resulting in a truly inspired, excellent track.

the second release on red sonja is a remix by the american luke hess, with detroit techno beats and dub touches that are characteristic for this artist, this all leads to an atmospherical track that breaks in a hysterical musicality above everything else. vasco ispirian makes a remix with a touch of house, techno and dub, an interpretation rich in sounds that culminate in crescendo. this track has a dynamic pace, without doubt, to dance.

pelacha has been focused on her playground project in the past few years, with the support of her friends, she now decides to pursue a project that will round up her musical career: the launch of red sonja records, certainly a very personal way of understanding techno, which has been an obvious part of her career up to this date. this passion now results in two releases. and this is just the beginning... the first release contains pelachas cuts in their purest style, techno without additives, a drum and bass line that absorbs the spotlight, led by a line that sets the synth pace - simple and effective. heiko lauxs interpretation gives this track a german touch, tight bass and a touch of surround development sound pure and highly hypnotic.
