das zweite album von klinke auf cinch mit dem titel -highs & hills- erschien im november 2012. begleitet von der transparenz-offensive releasingarecord.de legte das kollektiv ein von presse und publikum gefeiertes meisterwerk vor. nun, fast zwei jahre später, erscheinen die -highs & hills remixes-. die langsamkeit ist konzept. hier wird nicht auf schnelle moden, hypes und kurzfristige aufmerksamkeit geschielt. es geht um organisches wachstum, um das vertrauen, dass umwerfende musik ihre hörer finden wird. und um das konzept familie bzw. kollektiv. die bearbeitungen kommen allesamt von namhaften künstlern aus dem umfeld von klinke auf cinch. zum teil verbinden jahrelange freundschaften und eine vielzahl gegenseitiger remixe und kollaborationen die musiker. die sechs mixe stammen von marbert rocel (compost), tillmann jarmer (zughafen), fdf (freund der familie), boytalk (freund der familie / ortloff), pentatones (lebensfreude / live electronica feuerwerk) und the micronaut (acker / 3000 grad).
