supply records proudly presents waynette’s stunning debut album, “eraser on the dancefloor”. a heidelberg native living in berlin for the past few years, the dj, producer and vocalist has landed with her first ever release of any kind. supply could not be more honored to present her fresh, raw and distinctly personal take on underground dance music to the world. these seven tracks effortlessly span a range of techno, house and electro moods, interspersed with waynette’s unique vocals. from meditative rhythms to jagged electronics, a bold new voice has arrived, a multifaceted and hugely creative artist, and one to keep your eyes on for years to come.

ace, full-on techno, frosty and dreadful. station is a ring-modulated grinder with slashing fx, krone ups the tempo, percussion, menace. reben is stomping, swinging, dubwise, die werke darker, unhinged, funked out.

another storming, ranging ep from the new yorkers: heavy-duty machine funk for the dancefloor, charged and swinging with old-school chicago vibes. the a-side house bobs from tearaway to discofied to rawly jaunty, the techno on the flip from dug-in and twisted to a more wide-open excursiveness. to start, the soulful rug-cutter down runs a sublimated tribalism beneath lovely, dubwise kick drums and sultry female vocal, heavy skies is lo-fi funk, a stand-out, the bass and brilliant percussion-work of the title track crosses us garage with new uk styles (a little joy o to its bottom end). discreet time meshes vintage chicago drum programming with the filtered house of someone like i:cube, and to close, plateau, a widescreen, experimental bubblers, with reaching fxd synths and shuffling snares and hi-hats... perhaps their best yet.

continuing their reign over deep and technical drum and bass sets everywhere, the inimitable spinline are back with a pair of incredible remixes from two of the scenes most wanted individuals. from the drum and bass extremes of tar-black bass and granite-heavy rhythms, both clarity and stray have brought the goods for this release. but what did you expect?

soren jahan is a 23 year old ithaca based producer known as half of b-tracks and a founder member of supply records. on his debut lp as rene audiard he drops seven varied techno tracks. the productions all bear audiards trademark rough texture and stripped down aesthetic. ranging between stark dubs, lo-fi house, upfront kraut-style techno to beautiful ambient soundscapes, this album is a strong entrance for the young artist.

nice price deal !!! vladivostok lad eastcolors is probably most well-known within the dnb community for his mixes and for his collaborations with enei and nuage. as far as modern drum and bass is concerned eastcolors is at the forefront of that techy, fresh sound emanating from eastern europe and russia. with this in mind then, it is clear that while his tunes fuse well with his fellow russian drum and bass cohorts, eastcolors is making a departure from collabs. what better way to celebrate demands tenth release then, with eastcolors settings about placing his name upfront and alone with his first ever solo 12 inch. on the flip >heavy tone< rumbles forth with a typically eastcolors take on what a roller should be. lenzman-esque synths and strange, celestial vocals are quickly worked over by an electrical storm of droning bass and pads. as the synths return to break up the clouds here and there, >heavy tone< loses the idea of becoming another lost bass-heavy roller and settles into being a multi-layered piece of quality drum and bass.

b-tracks debut at the end of last year was a runaway smash, gone in a flash. the come back ep is another deadly round of deep, real dance music from the two new yorkers, schooled in vintage gotham and detroit house and techno, freshly to the manor born — driving, dub-wise, bare-bones, soulful, and melodic, by turns. once again, dont sleep on it.

once again demand records prove themselves to be one of the most forward-thinking labels in the scene. never compromising, never wavering and never doing anything just for the sake of it. this is d&b of the highest quality.
