2nd mosaic release on their new ltd series, this time a split ep with steve o sullivan on side a and roger gerressen on side b - steve o sullivan is well know from his classic releases on mosaic, sushitech, bluespirit, ongaku musik ...his style is very unique dub techno , basic channel influenced sound - roger gerressen is a popular dj and producer from holland (nijmegen) ... aka gasometric run , monoaaware, he also has released on sushitech, wolfskuil, sudden drop, fasten musique, appareal music, fear of flying, nilla, joule imprint, tartouffe, irenic ... his musical sound is a great variety from deep house , minimal to dub techno...

lessi s. is back on the label. this time showcasing a bumpy and bouncy a1 with a question / answer pattern between lush pads and synth shots. this track titled >clipper< shares its vinyl a-side with a roger gerressen remix, an artist part of the yoyaku camp and known for his stand out bodies of deepness featured on industry-leading imprints like sushitech. the b-side features lessi s dubby, tracky, and rolly >island in the wilderness< as well as the deep minimal esq, but still house inspired >sensitivity< to close off this release with a timeless variety for any underground record bag.

irenic003 is a cooperative effort by roger gerressen and his well known accomplices sinan alakus and ivano tetelepta. disc one is a collection of novio dub tribe tracks accompanied by an amazing remix by the incredibly talented udmo from australia. known for a string of well received and beautifully produced ep s on analogue attic, udmo took the original and did a nice stretched out rework for the early hours. on the second disc we find a few tracks from the vaults, two raw recordings by ivano tetelepta and roger gerressen and a track done by the labelboss himself..

roger gerressen steps up to the plate for the next release on fofs vinyl only imprint - koshima kicks things off with an elongated deep & submerged slice of dubbed out techno while the ante is most definitely upped on the flipsides waka, a shimmering groove with tripped out drums and blissful synth touches. rendang dub plummets once more to the depths - reverbed kicks and claustrophobic bass lending the track a uniquely atmospheric edge.

roger gerressen about his project >lunar phases< : -when thinking about the lights of the night the first thing that came to my mind was the moon. you look at it daily and we are all affected by it so much. since the project contains eight tracks and the moon travels through eight phases every month it seemed like an obvious choice to choose this subject for the lp. the first part of the lp is the >new moon<, when the people (and the music) are mellow and relaxed. the second part of the lp is darker, faster and more chaotic, which is more likely to be the effect a >full moon< has on people.-
