influenced by old-school and shaped by new tools pola delivers his next shot on nilla. le petit panka channels some of pola’s playful, sportive memories from a trip to paris, with some softly handled acid flava between the lines. the two tracker features a remix by swedish arkajo.
we at finale sessions are proud to have hungarian all inn records boss pola bless us with an ep! as you know we never go in one separate direction with finale sessions and we dig super deep on this one! we start with the track fallen idol which is my favorite of the three with its really nice percussions and it s streaming efx we cannot forget the bassline that takes it over the edge. track two winds of vengeance a very latnight track with moving synth s and very eclectic pads which gives it that dance floor appeal. last but not least we have reunion which has a real funk sound to it and it still has that punchy sound for those late night peeps who like that chicago sound and it also has added vocal witch keeps the music flowing. thank you from finale sessions with love
repress due to high demand on requests. well-balanced easy-rolling opuses from the higher ground.all inn hits 26th and it represents a floating and dreamy side session of label chief polarize, under the moniker pola. flipside brings an unmissable remix from the canadian house veteran altitude of blue recordings, also known as matt thibideau.
we have a great collaboration album from unam zetineb and soolee distributed each original tracks and remixes. interpolate is produced by spanish techno producer unam zetineb which has chocking bass energy and gentle but harsh beats. another track tense is produced soolee, label head from south korea. it has highly tensed electric loops with pounding drum. each remixes are also showing different color of original mixes.
supported by developer, spencer, slam, bas mooy, joachim spieth, claudio prc, kr!z, secludes, subjected, flug and many more.
strong hi-tech atmospheric techno with warped and heady energy personify the music of the underground rebels. heed the call of the far east end: seoul-based ameniia records has been pushing south korean artists onto the world stage since 2013 and one of their firm rising stars who has been building a steady momentum is back on the imprint – polarfront.
man band returns with its second release of 2019. newcomer tibia makes his first contribution to the label with polypola, an outstanding 5 track ep of otherworldly broken techno, rolling downtempo rhythms and electronica hits for spiritual awakening.
the second release of polarity records is characterized by old-school house influences with techno shades. the artist, andy rantzen, is an australia-based lo-fi electronic producer. trained as an academic psychologist, rantzen has been writing and releasing music for over thirty years.
joe herrick - dream reading: extrapolation records are proud to present the first record by joe herrick, dream reading. comprising of 14 tracks from a vast archive of his material we’ve been listening to for the last 5 years, the album moves from ambient soundscapes to off kilter hip hop and house, all held together by herricks individual use of looping and samples. euphoric, psychedelic, paranoid, rugged, claustrophobic all at once, the dream scenarios throughout include a variety of daily work events, journeys to different locations, family matters, sex acts, and encounters with other human individuals, animals, and deities.
polaroid were an italian post-punk/new wave band, formed in turin in 1981. the original lineup of the band consisted of marcello zavatto (voice, guitar), massimo vagnarelli (bass, drum-machine), evandro fornasier (guitar), claudio vagnarelli (synthersizer) and marco farano (drums). polaroid made their debut with the cassette 6-track ep
repress incoming! a blast from the past... one of the most iconic tracks from the noir music back-catalogue makes a remixed revival. 3 impressive remixes to spice up your dj sets. victor ruiz makes bipolar star a fantastic big room techno stomper with his signature sound and just the right amount of melody from the original to make it recognizable. re:axis almost makes the track unrecognicable with a more minimal techno approach. something i am sure will please the forefront of the underground techno scene. animal picnic & aaryon almost pays tribute to the original with their very cool update keeping a lot of the original feel but cleverly tweaked the elements to sound super fresh again. i believe there’s a little something for everyone in this remix package which was the purpose behind doing it instead of a bunch of remixes sounding the same. i hope you like the new remixes and put “bipolar star” right back into rotation.

we remain suspended, fluctuating
in these waters of unknown wellness
flooded by a silence of emotions.
emotions that make our loneliness
more deep, clear and awful.
as nails that dig died skins,
as eyes that bleed making skins acid
as hair that strangles the crowd s voices
in this air rarefied by thoughts
to make us more conscious of the restless lack
of the hope from us stolen.
pvs is an artist who is known for his solid productions on his own label h.omevvork (just to remind you of his masterpiece of four years fuckin society) and on the prestigious m_rec ltd label of max_m who sadly passed away (r.i.p.), and key vinyl. after years of experience in his private life and professional life that involved travelling around europe, he took a moment of break from the scene. now he’s back and will release this own musical journey where he deeply expresses his personal musical maturity. pvs developed an album where nothing has been produced randomly. the album can definitely be defined as a techno album, as is the general concept of key vinyl - records that can be heard on the dance floor, but that can also be listened to at home. enjoy this album that shows 360 degrees techno by pvs.
no doubt, -sistema lunar- is the masterpiece work to date of la s producer rigopolar. the best giorgio moroder hedonist style is totally present here but with a modern approach that makes of it an absolute instaclassic capable of burn up any dancefloor of the planet, this is a truly gem for any important collection. it arrives on 12″,,, maxi-single ep format and produced in a one-off truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid yellow vinyl. all tracks have been specially remastered for long cut vinyl by eric van wonterghem
nice price deal !!! polarity was born from an equation of mutual dependence between two opposite elements. although the two poles are of different polarity, they find in each other their main spring and their primary component. ultimately, one cannot live without the other.
following our first release with opal, which aimed at the dance and the bodies, we wanted with this second ep to reach to people’s mind. as a geneva-based techno label, it was fundamental to work with our local hero: opuswerk. he’s already been working outside of the country with artists like francois x and labels such as arts, semantica or dement3d. it was time we involved him in our project. through this ep, opuswerk clearly shows what he knows and does best. much like his dj sets, he connects dots and layers in unexpected ways, like a rhizome connecting different multiplicities. inspiration for the original tracks came from designing systems of independent yet connected sounds, where events are triggered, un-triggered and alter other events, each behaving on their own. as one of those elements, the artist acts as a guide, directing them from one place to the next acting as and with the machines. the -mot d’ordre- is about becoming one of the machines, blending techniques with vibes and catching them like ever escaping dreams. the result is two uniquely sounding spaces, either filled with raw energy like on extensum or with subtle and serene ever-evolving bleeps on spatium. those two extremes are fitting to how we want present the multiple dimensions of our artists works to the world. the same logic went into choosing the remixers, with whom opuswerk had a human connection with. inland and antigone need no introductions, having both established their sound on labels like countercharge or token. each brought their own re-interpretations of the original tracks bringing them closer to the dancefloors.
boris bunnik is no stranger in the world of electronic music. he released several albums and ep’s under a variety of monikers since 2007 on labels like delsin, shipwrec, frustrated funk and his own transcendent imprint. fauxpas musik welcomes him for a new project called severnaya.
originally hailing from the island of terschelling, the most northern and remote part of the netherlands he now made a piece of music dedicated to this special place. severnaya means north in russian and refers to the bright frozen landscapes of the northern archipels. boris often plays with the influences and elements of ambient in his music. if we have to believe the man himself, polar skies is his most personal sound trajectory to come from his mind. drum programming is scarce and what remains is a lush and profound listening experience floating on scapes and melodies. we clearly hear his roots and intentions represented in the airy, tranquil sound design of this new album project. things sound spacious, and life is at ease in these melancholic compositions. crispy crackling percussions and icey pads place you in the midst of a resonant arctic landscape. you can hear influences drawn from producers like biosphere, pub, brian eno but we also hear more contemporary influences from modern day film composition but most of all we here boris his own signature. the tracks were composed over a couple of years (2015-2017) in a more contemplative mindset. at some point this selection formed a consistent piece of music and as a result you hear his most personal and fragile works to date. fauxpas musik is proud to release this new project in 2018. written and produced by boris bunnik aka conforce at the pasadenaoceanlab studios special thanks to family, friends and fauxpas musik for their support. this release comes in 180g vinyl and a hot foil stamping on the cover. vinyl tastes better...
has underground house really run out of ideas? the aesthetic is no doubt getting worn out: you can barely move for tounge-in-cheek dj aliases, palm-tree emojis and vhs screen grabs of 90s a-listers. against that backdrop, helter cuts through like a rough-edged asteroid. -polaris ep-, the london producer s debut vinyl release after a few leaked tracks created a buss on soundcloud, hits the reset button on the hackneyed discourse that surrounds decayed house music. the four tracks on offer cascade between blasts of tectonic rhythm, colour and melody, and washed-out ambience, intertwining and soaking into each other. the deck is still broken, but it punches in all the right places. a sun-warped, boards of canada sequel pumped full of adrenaline and grit. the soundtrack to a broken ecstasy, sure to leave half the kids in a trance and the other with shit dripping down their legs. helter is pushing the genre of misshapen house music into a new dimension - one with more energy, and through a truly shattered lens.
mapping out their interpretation of 170 bpm music today, gerra & stone are proud to present their debut album “polarism” on dispatch recordings this september.
harnessing wide ranging influences and often contrasting moods into the drum & bass tempo, “polarism” is gerra & stone pouring their passions into a project to bring honest, emotionally charged music from the soul, balanced by swathes of darkness and groove guided havoc.
after 2 first eps in 2016 on voxnox & arts digital, the young berliner talent opål comes back on the new swiss imprint bipolar disorder. the silem ep demonstrates opål’s ease to encompass both energetic, raving, or deeper techno style.
the main title “silem” takes the listener right away through a melodic journey aiming to warm dancefloors, followed by the dubbier, more classic/chilled “capillaries”. “cadmium” gives acceleration again on the b side with its stomping bass, before to close with “solar”. never forcing the audience, opål cares for details and atmospheres. his ability to experiment and blend genres insures him a unique signature in a driven, puristic, dub, leaning toward hypnotic style.
with the seventh vinyl release evod music welcomes kwartz, well-knowed spanish producer who released on label like pole group and mord. the release is splitted with evod, two tracks for side. the two tracks by kwartz are noisy, warm, with turbulent grooves, both tunes are overwhelming, with twists of low frequencies sequences and brilliant noises/rhythmics. evod s tracks are a true compromise between old school and modern sonorities, thanks to the raw/analog warm accompanied by abstract and synthetic sounds.
