the french techno party thrower is proud to present its new label called blocaus series. the first release is produced by their talented resident anetha, real icon of the blocaus crew. the ep consists of three driving, hypnotic and banging tracks inspired by 90s rave cuts. the dutch artist stranger contributes a massive remix, making the whole ep hyper effective and catchy. from the trippy and hypnotic interstellar and towards infinity on the a-side, to the straight banging up leftlover love and stranger s remix on the b-side, this debut release is just an incipient illustration of what can be expected from this young and promising label.

“bionic romance ep” is anetha’s second release on blocaus series following 2017’s very successful -“leftover love ep”. once again, anetha continues to play to her strengths and delivers four tracks - diverse and rich in the depth, texture and hypnotism of techno deep space explorations.

with the musical institution that the guitar constitutes, golden retriever sets out to change its paradigm with very simple means, creating a void between genres and ideas to be in, grinning in its essence yet at times grounded with serious introspective ingredients. with only an iphone as a recording studio, golden retriever has created the ep in a very minimalistic sense, not only when it comes to sheer production elements but also through that instruments chosen to use. having a background in various other scenes, you could say it s a consequence of leftover creativity and exploratory passion that didn t fit in anywhere else at the moment. the sonic palette is naive, luscious and surprisingly thick and sturdy considering the limitations of both instruments and recording equipment used. with unassailable melodies that are equally captivating as ravishing, it seduces you with the same drifter romantics and beautiful scenery as you would find in any classic country song without following the same structure. whenever a string of the guitar is plucked, struck or touched, it invokes feelings of both adventurous joy, but sometimes also the sadness of leaving something behind.

next up from the very eclectic rong music is a remix ep from west indian girl.west indian girl is a rock band from los angeles. the bands name comes from a type of lsd that was popular in the early 60s. the initials are also a reference to james and tens previous band, wig scotty coats and wes the mes have fifty years of djing and remixing experience between them but their first release togetheruas wes coatsuis just coming out this month as the first california release on the newly merged dfa and rong music. patterns form hail from texas formed by sammy ragland & chris ornelas in 2000 making a cross between shoegaze trip hop & electronic moving to la in 2004 and forming a full band and have been playing live across the us ever since.

played by brothers vibe , gerd janson (running back)... introducing two brand new lindstrom tracks: the magnificent and disturbing the perfect symmetry the leftover ep came about when prins thomas, todd terje and smalltown supersound were let into the lindstrom vaults so to speak. lindstrom makes a lot of music obviously (he has one album out this year already with prins thomas and another one with christabelle coming in october), and these were two tracks just laying around that he hadnt thought about releasing. when both prins thomas, todd terje and his label insisted that the tracks had to be released, he decided it was maybe a good idea to make another 12inch since it had actually been a while since the last one. and we are all happy by that. these are some of his finest moments. his signature melodies and sound are all here ready set dancefloors on fire. hope you like them as much as we do. enjoy!
