trjj is made up of several people that meet regularly since 2016. it is practiced collectively with interchanging names and roles, so the full control about disguised authorship would be guaranteed. everyone involved was set to meet half way. trjj is a filter for the kinship of many. its the freedom attained, once you have gotten rid of yourself. this heteronomic practice would be ideal to advocate against reasons which are claimed, biographies that are scripted, economies that are fueled and histories that are written to be recognized as something apparently truly valid and fully finnished.

restive plaggona is the music project of the corfu-based artist dimitris doukas –also producing under matriarchy roots, leftina osha and plaggona-. after releasing a series of cassettes in different labels along 2016 and 2017 –including his own several minor promises- “leaving the body” arrives as an electronic composition of beats and synthesizer bodies disguised as a sense of provocation and mystery. each of the seven pieces offers more than a smattering of interesting textures separated by spans of great decline, but a master class of permutations in-between accompanying sounds, stretching rhythms and viscera-and- violence noises. driven by a deeply expressive narrative, restive plaggona makes a strong statement about his post-industrial vision adding technoid inclinations in a delightful dystopian world.

unknot is the duo consisting of producer/dj sciahri and composer/audiohead emanuele porcinai. unknot01 is the first release on the duos self-titled label. the music is derived from recordings of jam sessions taken on a semi-modular set-up and later contextualized, through arrangement, within a dancefloor-oriented framework.
the core of unknots sound is strictly bound both to sciahris solid techno background and to the mutable character of emanuele’s electroacoustic productions. the dialogue between such distant practices and approaches, brought to an extremely restrained setup, is what defines unknots musical identity.
unknot01 is a stark, angular swarm of sounds, shaped within very structured yet experimental arrangements. each track delivers propulsive, cryptic and poignant melodies disguised in the harsh and outright aggressive rhythmical patterns.

on brothers in loves first release, max k. gets right down to business introducing himself and this family project: booming kick drums, thumping toms side by side with sharp hi-hats and staccato claps. machine grooves with sounds as raw as the musical approach of the artist. >losing your cool< builds on a massive kick drum, with a tom groove shuffling the track. it develops into a late summer bloom, which is over as fast as this years berlin summer was – with piercing percussion to remind you that winter is already here! >overdrive<, the first track on the flip, starts as a heavy slow groover with thumping kick, crashing snare and acidic synth lines until a punishing hook enters knocking you upside the head. the second track on the b-side, >indulgence< comes disguised as a stepper with a raw, pulsating analog bass line, but reaches its apex with a whirling synth lead on top of a vocal that could never be classified as your ordinary preachapella.

following the legendary first two, stoically super minimal records >sog 1< and >sog 2< that provide ecstasy disguised as boredom on kompakt extra/speicher in 2007, and the outstanding beautifully bizarre >sog - abweichung< on profan in 2010, we are now listening to >fremde hÄnde<. like its predecessors, this sog stands in the tradition of >the art of omission< with wolfgang voigt variegating his preference for the bluntly straightforward quaver bass in two different forms. the a-side contains a tonally noncommittal sequence ambling across the keyboard in quantised form, reminiscing of the arpeggiator (accompaniment function) function of early 70ies and 80ies synthesizers. on the b-side, daring and thoroughly unquantised quaver rhythms rock around a bass drum that, as the only straight element, tries to keep the whole thing together. the result sounds a little like a delirious can live.
