fluxions ripple effect is the film score for a non-existing motion picture. this 9-track album is the result of experimentation and the combination of the producers two most cherished art forms: electronic music and score music. ironically the two worlds rarely seem to meet, despite the fact that score music has adopted a looser form in order to better adapt to film accompaniment, bringing it closer to electronic music which attempts to contradict form or shed it altogether. fluxion felt the need to bring these two musical forms into dialogue with each other, lending structure to electronic and deconstructing score music to create a malleable and expressive hybrid. the albums production took two years from its original conception for the subliminal story to unfold into the completed product. fluxion wanted to say as much as possible through the music, leaving the visuals as a blank canvas for the listener to create their own story. in the end, the goal is to give each member of the audience a unique audiovisual experience based on their own perception and interpretation.

a.r.c. soundtracks is the audio/visual project of k.craig and david armes. dereliction//mirror is the duoÕs third release, following on from a debut album, archive: volume one (little crackd rabbit) and a cassette release for sacred tapes, from a shattered beam. dereliction//mirror was created on-residency at salford s islington mill, home to gnod, sacred tapes and many other noise/experimental musicians and labels. it is an audio/visual piece that uses the semi-derelict attic spaces as both inspiration and source material. focussing on the notion of ruins and their potential for reappropriation, dereliction//mirror combines a dense, multi-layered sound-world with ritualistic visuals to create an immersive, hypnotic work. this new film and soundtrack takes us into a bleak auditory realm of post-industrial structures and traces the role of the body within these liminal spaces. strained harmonics and industrial, discordance mesh with veiled rhythms and spoken-word narrative to create a heavy, static energy to both sound and visuals.

hvob: trialog hvob present their second album as an interdisciplinary work of art: ten physical processes are reflected in interactive installations, visuals and sounds. with their successful debut album (hvob, 2013) and five eps, hvob have crafted a unique panoply of sound: intelligent and driving, challenging and melodic. trialog, the second album by the producer duo anna mźller and paul wallner, will be releases on april 17th. i. project above all, trialog is an interdisciplinary art project, comprising a discourse between the disciplines of sound, video and installation, realised by hvob, the vjs licherloh and the visual artist clemens wolf.
