it is with great pleasure that we announce the first edition of the krill south series. the series will be making history, right from its inaugural release, by being the first ever techno release to be pressed and distributed from argentina. the release will coincide with a partnership with conekta records. the first release will be a reissue of a remastered version of two of krill’s hottest releases - jonas kopp’s ‘anklad’ (which was featured on krill’s maiden voyage back in 2011) and raffael attanasio’s x501’s ‘x505.5’ (which can be found on the a-side of the fourth krill release with bleak’s offerings on the flip). kopp and attanasio’s contributions to the techno scene have sky-rocketed since their last krill output and it’s an honour to be able to reissue something that has been marked as legendary on krill’s accolade. krill music
2016 has been a very fruitful year for krill music. the habitat series places focus on shedding light on budding new talents and seasoned veterans alike through solitary tracks. the year kicked off with an ep from those that fall into the latter category - those of whom need little introduction, in stanislav tolkachev, i/y, +platfform and stefan vincent. throughout the course of the year, we then saw the likes of matrixxman, ilario alicante and mental resonance contribute to the now infamous concatenation.
krill music habitat va part v comes armed with 4 original cuts. carefully curated to create a breadth of styles whilst maintaing a sense of cohesion, with a thin thread running throughout - in the form of hypnotism and unease. its been nearly 5 years since krill music embarked on its maiden voyage, and in that time has managed to accumulate quite the accolade of heavy weight artists. providing a platform for ever relevant luminaries, such as pfirter, thomas hessler, charlton and the rogue-techno-mercenary stanislav tolkachev- the argentinian/norwegian outpost has garnered quite the momentum in just half a decade.
after the part iii, the part iv of habitat series focuses all the energies on the next 4 track project where matrixxman, mental resonance, benjamin mull and christian lisco are the protagonist of this highly flammable ep. dark, acid, futuristic and rough elements blend together into something incredibly harmonious.
once again krill music takes command of the shuttle towards another sonic dimension, a complicated journey to the limits of sound where mesmerising melodies act like the songs of sirens, through obscure and dense jungle foliage where the sunlight is rare and the night reigns. so with seat-belts fastened, onto the latest release...

society 3.0 recordings set out to put together a collection of songs in the form of an excellent 12- maxi single / digital download release, featuring 6 tracks from a host of talented artists. marc de vole & ray simon dominate the first half of the record, with their incredible dense sound and awe-inspiring deep house philosophy. mr. de vole has been into electronica since the late 90s, and his seasoned experience clearly shows through his track. this is an artist who strives to create focused and punchy tracks, yet retain a very special intuition that add that sought-after -human touch- to his works. russian artist -tuneon- dominates track n.3, -blumarine-. the song flirts with 90s disco and house influences, adding some color and texture to the setlist, without straying too far from the mood previously set by marc de vole and ray simon. the second half of the release features the work of sergio parrado and ernesto paredano, who set out to collaborate on 3 tracks for this release. these tunes showcase a more modern and european approach to the sound. on -mamey- and -krill-, the pair showcase an interesting approach to percussiveness, creating intricate and dense rhythmic pattern that truly drive the songs. closing number -tempranillo- embodies the spirit of classic deep house and tech, serving as a perfect closing number for such an exciting and diverse release.
silver coloured vinyl, limited to 300 copies!
posthumans entry into the electronic music world was via the now legendary skam records - duo have established themselves as not only post human but post techno, post minimal and post rave.
