as björk continues to make waves in the electronic scene, we are now presented with exclusive remixes by boundary-pushing artists and djs selected by the icelandic artist. the vulnicura remix project will be released in very limited quantities for collectors only, as a series of single-sided etched translucent 12” records including download code, each with their own unique etching & die-­cut vulnicura wound sleeves, designed by m/m (paris).

nachdem er reekee die taufe des labels anvertraut hat, ist der moment günstig, einen weiteren italiener, colosimo, mit einer qualitätsarbeit, die verschiedene bereiche der zeitgenössischen elektronik umfasst, in die szene einzuführen.

it was in high school where music joined these two boys, exchanging deep techno and trance cassettes between classes. they grew and decided to study their passion, musical production. pablo & nani share the same style but each one does it differently in their own way, we could define it as deep tech-house. in this first ep they had clear ideas, they wanted to do a vinyl that could be played at the club, either in warm up and peak time, and they have done so. “the people we like” is the favorite of dactilar, modern deep house full of details with a clean groove. “for russia with love”, pablo’s favorite, classic deep techno in honor of all his russian followers. “krampf” is the bad guy of the movie, mental techno for long dj mixes, and “the hum”, dark and powerful from beginning to end. after so many years we are pleased to present pablo bolivar & dactilar together.

seven tracks on the new lowriders release and its a real joy to listen to! the ep opens with the cheerful title track with the likes of kissey on vocals and it is amazingly sticky and feels like a compendium of 30 years of electronic music, with seemingly effortless transitions between detroit house, booty bass and future music.baby treats you on a twostep/house bumper which will kill you. bek is like your 808 swingbeat ghetto track: redundancy to the bone covered with bubbles and some essential vocoder science. sduk makes baby into a dancefloor stomper, whereas starkeys interpretation of field (which appeared on our beatitude compiler) adds and enhances drama and suspense from the original.and then there is the magical krampfhaft remix of tic tac toe, a worthy last track, schizofrenic, driven and recognizable as a mutated juke screamer.

roel funcken, one half of dutch electronica duo funckarma, delivers the >daze flextone ep<, his solo debut for eat concrete records. these four tracks highlight the latest take on his dubstep-fused electronica experiments. the result is energetic, original and extremely heavy. three of these tracks were previously released on cd only thru berlins ad noiseam but we couldnt resist putting it on vinyl for obvious reasons. extra track is a funcken remix of a track by dutchman krampfhaft, watch out for more!
