for many years, o, aka olivier marguerit has been considered as the best sideman of the french indie pop. permanent member of syd matters, he is the one with a complete background that always has been used to hightlighting and boosting the others. until one day he decided to to care for his ownself. after 2 albums confidentially released, known as o (ohm part 1 & 2), his first lp will come out 12th january. of course, it is about a brilliant and erudite form of pop. the album will be supported from december with many live dates, including the transmusicales of rennes, and the printemps de bourges afterwards.

the official re-issue of the dub classic -space invaders- available as extended 2lp vinyl-set with 20 tracks and poster. the original album from 1981 has been state-of-the-art remastered and is twinned with a second disc of the original vocal versions. all recordings recorded at channel one with the roots radics and mixed by scientist at king tubby’s with producer linval thomspon.

anyone familiar with mop mop will already know that their refined style has already lend them a unique place somewhere between the worlds of jazz, funk, latin and the italian postmodern style allowed the band to achieve the international film business as part of woody allens to rome with love movie soundtrack. but with this latest lp isle of magic, mop mop digs even deeper to bring us one of their most engaging and organic records yet.
