cetu javu war eine deutsche synthie-pop-band um den sänger javier revilla diez und den synthie-zauberer und komponisten chris demere. sie begannen 1984 mit der band und erreichten im frühjahr des nächsten jahres überraschend den dritten platz bei einem nachwuchsfestival in hannover. es folgten einige weitere auftritte, aber der höhepunkt war ein konzert im dezember 1986 als vorgruppe von erasure.
