moving to a different city always seems to mark a new time in my life musically. boston has become my new home after living in hartford, ct and new york city before that. the music on this release is a representation of me settling into a new environment. i have slowly realized that the music i make is mostly therapy for myself. it is what i believe that i need to hear at the time in order to be at peace with whatever situation i am in. in that regard, the music is very much who i am.

what do people like balihus daniel wang and royksopp have in common? they write nice things like this about our (not so) new talent kid on the block. polosh superproducer maximilian skiba! music from a very good young polish producer, warm chords, funky melodies, think bass and guitars by chic meeting a string section by beethoven, with a touch of italo-disco and almost flamenco-like soul daniel wang he produces very nice italo disco tracks, im a fan royksopp. shanghouse is an instant hit. i would say instant classic if this wasnt so daft and meaningless. if you just heard it 5 times and feel the need to put it on another time. thats shanghouse by max skiba. then theres a great remix by victor rosado and a great slightly diverse prins thomas edit of korsakot another track.

2015 repress ... willie burns and entro senestre team up for their second release on l.i.e.s. under the daywalker + cf moniker. big things on here! picking up right where last year s release left off, the title track supersonic transport turns out to be their most dancefloor driven effort to date. doing exactly what the title states, it moves in beautifully epic territories throughout its almost 8 minutes long course, taking you where you need to go. the b-side turns the floor vibes down a notch, as both tracks are left alone to breath in their own worlds, each with equal space and unique sonic character. ace release from these guys.
