we have never done a project like this before where the artists choose all the remixers themselves. but for the crazy italoboyz album >bla bla bla< we found ourselves not really knowing what to do. so instead of forcing our own ideas for remixers we went back to the source and let the artists run wild on the a&r. marco and fede commissioned all the remixers themselves. the producers they chose are a very diverse bunch and the vinyl 12inch takes a sampling of the best material from two very big underground names. on the a-side das kraus duo turn it a super jackin yet also very haunting rendition of >oh mio dio.< it sounds like pitched up chicago house meets demon days. on the b-side old school master dandy jack turns in one of the oddest records ever on mothership with some unusual sound design, voices and semi-dischordant note runs. super weird for the super weird! whatever you think of this odd lot no one can deny these remixes definitely carry the indistinguishable mark of that ever so quirky duo, the italoboyz

new sound signature and a brand new collaboration between theo parish and detroit soul singer bill beaver aka billy love. so i called bill since we hadnt recorded in a while. he came by and i started playing ideas for him and these four happened that day. full length coming says theo. sounds like they had quite a productive day. theos beats as ever sound great and these four tracks join the dots between new soul music and dusty detroit house.

friday night sweat is a jackin house workout, full of swirling synths & cut up samples. ooh yeah ha, is a more driving twisty little number, with retro tinged toplines & a heavy bass!

some still know very little about t&b artist josefine jinder, so let us introduce her to you. in august 2008 we saw the debut ep of little jinder, >polyhedron<, and soon after in october 08 we gave >polyhedron< the remix treatment with loads of t&b producers. in june 09, after countless gigs and production work, jinder returned to the t&b catalog with >youth blood< on their scion comp. the tune was such a hit t&b had no other choice but to give this epic blood sucker disco house anthem the same remixing treatment as >polyhedron<. as usual, t&b remixes are all over the board from a joker-esque dubstep remix by 12th planet & flinch, a monster mash heavy bass electro remix from sharkslayer to a remix by tomas andersson, who graces this 12 inch with a smooth rolling disco remix straight from the dub factory. this is one of many releases to come from jinder, this is her first single in support of her full length record to come out in 2010. definitely an artist to watch.
