the quake has a completely fresh sound, not strictly breaks, house or electro, but possessing elements of all 3 genres, its about the groove, warm synth work and the phonat style cut up female vox. splank! favourite malente provides the remix action for this single. having released the 2 & only on splank! last year alongside sometime production cohort (lars) moston, this year has also seen malente release his fourth studio album on unique records how can you still stand to stand still, and more recently he has remixed coburn. the remix takes a 4/4 route, as malente keeps many of the original parts, but re arranges them into his original production style, and creates an absolute monster that goes into overdrive after the drop.

following fondations first release - danton eeprom - these eyes/strictly erotics, cheerfully welcomed by djs, radios and press across europe - is the first ep of brwn shoes. this newcomer to the electronic scene played for long the role of observer, in the sweaty basements of london and valencia, before getting to djing and music production with panache, brio and attitude. brwn shoes sound is based on dirty, insistent monosyllabic basslines and superpositions of subtle notes and minimalistic gimmicks, providing moody, stripped-down pieces meant to drive the crowd and its dj corpus mentus. zeugma and tigers dont sleep are two perfect examples of this new breed of sound hes developing. crude, raw and sexy.

feel good house music from this summer one of the biggest title from ibiza summer 2007 and so is the sunshine. vision factory once again proven their skills in making proper house music. their mix gives a good vibe and the sing a long factor is huge. second mix comes from the man of the moment ali payami (suesse, serial). full on big room feeling with a slight of trancy elements! steve n king ends up with his dub mix. we all know him from the big hit bounce (boss and mobizz) in 2006.

excellent release by one of the most revolutionary artists for deep house in spain, his name, jesus gonsev from cuidad real. the manchego native rounds out the tenth vinyl release of house cafe music with a definitive american sound from the early 90s. the future of this artist looks bright as he is poised to release more records on soul cafe music from south africa and gotta keep faith records. next to me, the title track of this ep brings memories of the productions of steve bug or gamat 3000 from the dessous glory days, lots of groove with simple elements which make it both mixab le and danceable. so deep, has already garnered the attention of house legends such as larry heard and ame, who have already included this track in their sessions.

lovely slice of deep vocal heaven here starting with an afro brazilian flavored guitar intro and gentle beat with a subtle kick that slides into some extra warm synths and the baduesque vocal by zansika that sets the tone, polish all the way. incredible break about two thirds the way through that gets quiet and takes a moment for just the beat, echoing vocal and dizzying synths that should mesmerise the floor. b side dub strips the track down to its essence exposing all its elements to let us see what makes it work so well
