dave taylor and jesse rose have been working together as induceve for about 6 years now. this is their second release on dubsided and as the title track >warehouse shit< has been knocking about for a minute, its good to see the vinyl is out now. a1 warehouse shit – so there s going to be comparisons with >higher state of consciousness< but what the hell, it smashes the floor every time its played. its squelchy, bumpy, and all pinned down by a simple but effective groove. b1 stay cool - proper underground mischief. bumps along nicely. as the title suggests this track stays cool, doesn t get too hectic - just a bass line, relevant hooks and automated lead synth line. b2 why burn - cool, heavier and altogether less deliberate. the deeper side of induceve with a definite chicago, sneak-type feel

avida perfectly fit in with a kind of underground music that was getting all the rage in italy in those days: nonsense music (musica demenziale). the structures were intentionally primitive, often made on cheap electronics. maurizio damis vocals , inspired on early 60s italian singers (to carry on and close the typical 20 years cycle of revivals), such as edoardo vianello, had an appealing mix of trash and humour. avida was essen tially a live band. their performances were a mix of theatre and music, where visuals played a major role. anyway, today some of that music still sounds interesting and not only due to its lyric. in our opinion about the best music alexander robotnik ever made
