2014 promises to be an exciting year for the good ship boe recordings and the first release in february sums up exactly what territory the label is setting its course for. nick lawson has long been overdue a release on boe and after a couple of years of nurturing, he has delivered a set of compositions that will stand the test of time and should no doubt feature in many true heads record boxes for an age. patiently and eagerly crafting his style, nick has pulled together a slick production aesthetic that shines with detail and emotion. the by any means ep proffers three tracks that wouldnt sound out of place on the impossibly rare and much coveted label driftwood.
