trad.attack! ist ein estnisches trio, bestehend aus den drei langjährigen freunden sandra vabarna, jalmar vabarna und tönu tubli. diese sind seit rund 15 jahren in der heimischen musikszene aktiv. 2014 gründeten sie ihre band - und haben seitdem in estland für viel furore gesorgt. in ihren liedern verwenden die drei bausteine aus dem traditionellen repertoire ihrer heimat und verweben diese mit pulsierenden rhythmischen strukturen. trad.attack! schöpft inspiration aus alten archivaufnahmen und damit liedern, die ursprünglich an feiertagen oder zur arbeitsbegleitung gesungen wurden.
