the unreleased 1980 s album by the musicians who are also known as supersempfft. by the way previously featured on the gta5 soundtrack. this album was a project for virgin records which wasn t released back in the days. the 2016 pressings featuring the original 1982 music productions and the unused artwork. remastered by anthony rother.

after their huge hit blok-o-theque earlier this year, blokhe4d are ready to give us yet another massive release – this time moving into new territory as they unleash the first of many forthcoming excursions into different styles and tempos. in collaboration with the mighty gridlok, >bad kat< is a powerhouse of a d&b track. featuring rolling drums, huge bass and massive attention to detail, it is one of the biggest sounding tracks you will hear this year. a tour de force of producers at the top of their game, from the moment its distinctive horn sounds, bad kat promises to wreak havoc on the dancefloor. also look out for another blokhe4d & gridlok colab forthcoming on hospital records.
the solo effort >martyr< switches things up even more. coming in at 140bpm, martyr lurches forward, with cinematic synths leaving the track shrouded in mystery and suspense. full of atmosphere, martyr puts the innovative blokhe4d twist on dubstep to create dark moody, bass music, dripping with attitude.

when a very talented up & coming producer named hedj sent the initial parts of this release over to the bad taste hq they knew he had something special about him. shortly afterwards hedj tragically lost his life and by way of a tribute blokhe4d decided to finish off >spirit< and release it as he had intended. now having been sent over the equally awesome >joker< by his family, bad taste recordings are very proud to be able to offer out this posthumous release from hedj.

as 2011 throws open its doors its time once again for blokhe4ds bad taste recordings camp to step forth with the next instalment of the all-conquering, earth-shattering bad taste compilation series. this sampler features two huge tracks not featured on the forthcoming triple pack vinyl release. blokhe4d switch things up again, this time with a nod to the foundations of their sound, >kisses and lies< is a dirty, rolling slice of heavy duty dnb. early plays from bailey and crissy criss on radio 1/1xtra has seen support for this track grow and grow.

full circle has all the ingredients of a timeless d+b smash ? simplicity itself. a dj friendly beat intro opens up into a quiet breakdown before the breaks and bass shatter the piece and the riff rolls round again. on the second side of the wax skyline is a more uncompromising affair ? an industrial strength rhythm track with machine age snares and taught kicks ploughs through the chugging bassline and paranoid arpeggios.

having spent the last seven years delivering impressive singles on a variety of labels - most notably aus music, secretsundaze and hype_ltd - ewan smith has decided the time is right to unleash his debut album under the youandewan alias.

t c f is the moniker of norwegian contemporary artist and experimental computer musician lars holdhus. his work explores themes of code, cryptography and privacy through the use of visual, sonic, built and written concepts. often the titles and descriptions of his work are written in cyphertext, the key to which is hidden within the piece itself. his forthcoming release on liberation technologies will further this cryptographic theme, consisting of digital and physical content containing the necessary keys to unlock the full meaning of the work.
