punch drunk continue to twist, redefine and push forward the template of dubstep with a new 12 inch combining the talents of rising star hyetal and bristol veteran peverelist. as part of the second wave of bristol dubstep producers, hyetal has already made his mark, garnering critical acclaim for his recent 12 inch >phoenix< on orca and previously releasing 12 inches on labels such as reduction and soul motive in addition to his collaboration with shortstuff on punch drunk earlier this year.

bristol based dubstep label punch drunk records are on a heater at the moment, having recently released the rsd lp compilation (good energy. a singles compilation) they are shortly due to release a debut album from label boss peverelist entitled jarvik mindstate.

4th and final release in tectonics plate series brings us pinch & moving ninja plus a shed remix of peverelists junktion on the flip.

the final chapter in the skull disco story has arrived, in the shape of a 2xcd compilation, and this limited edition black & white vinyl double pack. all tracks previously unavailable on vinyl. remixes by the likes of dj rupture, geiom, badawi, bass clef, & t++s longawaited mix of >vansan< finally sees the light of day here.

after the success of apple pips 1st release from martyn, we are back with another treat for music heads.. our 2nd release comes from brendon moeller aka beat pharmacy brendon. on the a-side under his real name, brendon has created an 127bpm big room classic, submerging the original elements under layers of delay and echo, deep but grooving…on the flip he dons his beat pharmacy guise, slows things down to 120bpm & spaces things out in fine style, utilising the originals abstract riff and resetting it in a really exciting new house tempo context.. with releases coming on rekids, third ear, & deep space and remixes for echospace and others coming up it looks like a great year for brendon and pips is proud to present this exciting clash of styles…
