comes with a huge 22x28 newprint poster in japanese sealed poly sleeve. chicago s beau wanzer returns to the label with his signature sound of crunched out bizarro electronics. tip! unmistakenly, wanzer has carved his own niche through the years as this ep rightly reflects the vast range of styles he works in. from the hypnotic head nod of wick hunny to the juicy back alley electro wave of the grim whim or the nasty metallic stomp of he spilled my drink we get wanzer in top freak form, mangling the drum machines and pushing the synths to the edge. a welcome return to say the least.

beau wanzer returns with another lp of archival material plucked from the mutant mounds of shitty coughs and smelly feet. wanzer digs deep and delivers twelve tracks in his inimitable style, with some dating as far back as 1999. the brutal electronic punk productions like something stinks are balanced with moldy movements such as staring at at fish. this lp takes a more vocal heavy and menacing approach, but it s not without moments of respite. undoubtedly another oozing outing from the chicago deviant.

philadelphia-based producer chaperone has been working as a creative partner at great circles for the past six months, as well as collaborating with westov temple on an ongoing a/v project, seppuku overwrite. p o n d is his first 12 inch release on the label.

known for his past releases on nation, l.i.e.s, and cititrax, chicagos beau wanzer delivers a 12 track lp of archival material culled from tapes stored away from years past, the tracks in question being plucked between 2002-2008. wanzer has stuck to his grotesque guns over the years, keeping his music personal, grating, and down right bizarre. each track takes a narrative of its own, from the languidly vocaled, yet uncannily catchy *mob boss* to the possessed murmurs of *love tone*, wanzer has created a completely unique collection of music which engages the listener all the way through.
