das dritte studioalbum der pariser electro swing-pioniere caravan palace endlich wieder auf vinyl erhältlich! caravan palace haben sich der musik der goldenen zwanzigerjahre verschrieben und verpassen jener mit hilfe von treibenden dancefloor-beats einen futuristischen glanz - und das auf ihre ganz eigene, freche und sorglose art. nun darf man sich auf das dritte album <|°_°|> (robot face) freuen, ebenso wie auf die dafür geplante tournee, die caravan palace auch für vier termine nach deutschland führen wird. die instrumentalisten und studiovirtuosen charles delaporte (kontrabass), hugues payne (violine, backing vocals), antoine toustou (posaune, machine), arnaud vial (gitarre), chapi (klarinette) und paul-marie barbier (vibraphon) sowie die sängerin zoe colotis stehen für eine energiegeladene live-show, die alle anwesenden in ihren bann ziehen wird.

after putting out three excellent mixtapes (from andrew lyster, leif & joe ellis and nick craddock respectively), collapsing market are now ready to release their first record. eszaid (aka louis vial, one half of mura oka) inaugurates the imprint with four foreboding & gloomy trips that traverse through techno s darker shades into haunting ambient. louis vial merges slow drum patterns with foggy textures and sparse arrangements, reminiscent of early kassem mosse material. this is an incredibly affecting and mature first ep from the young producer who launches the label in the best way possible... and look out for the thoughtful artwork including a beautiful obi strip and reflective silver sleeve!
