asuntos internos is an ep dedicated to artists from spain, in this case 3 from barcelona (nlk, delusions & niet! and nehuen) and 1 from madrid (vvv). the first two songs, -overview- and -100 freeze-, have a obscure tones, and darkwave intensity. in -exorcism- delirious voices are planned on a magnetic basis while relatively ethereal, while -i do not know what i want- (jump it now mix) finally jumps into the dance floor with a purely techno ebm cut. asuntos internos es un ep dedicado a artistas del pais, en este caso 3 de barcelona (nlk, delusions & niet ! y nehuen) y 1 de madrid (vvv). las dos primeras canciones, -overview- y -100 freeze-, tienen un tono más post-punk: la primera recuerda a the cure y la segunda añade intensidad industrial. en -exorcismo- unas voces delirantes planean sobre una base magnética a la vez que relativamente etérea, mientras que -i don t know what i want (want it now mix)- salta finalmente a la pista de baile con un corte puramente techno ebm.

supported by: richi hawtin, hot chip, john digweed, nik fanciull, tono rios, okain... their new ep >shipyard< is piemont at their best... we would not have it another way... magnetic beat-bassline monsters, funky and rigid at the same time. you might call it germanic and it reminds us of dadaism in the 20ies ingermany with it s theme: non-sense makes more sense? the a-side track >shipyard< has all of this, a fusion of old school with blowing horns and massive hi-tech technology. well we know the release is about hamburg harbour...but what the f..ck does it matter. the b1-track >cargo< is as heavy and bulky as you can imagine a track to be with this name... but if you know piemont, you know they make even heavy tracks funky. the b2-track >dockyard< isthe deepest track on the 12 inch and shows that piemont will continue their liking for deeper music which they revealed for the fist time on their recent album >strange world beyond< on mbf.

after >tono ep< their first single on telegraph acclaimed by international djs minimono are italian friends comes back with 4 strong minimal house tracks in the spirit of some daniel bell productions minimono is an artistic project who expresses the concept of modernity trough art and music by a collaboration between a dj and a musician respectively fabio della torre and ennio colaci. this sound concept is based on minimalism, ultra funky and groove. they offer here productions with experimental sonority but conserving a funky house spirit to a coherent result and, overall, ultra effective!
