we are really honoured to present a 12 inch ep collaboration between the mexican band ford proco and the legendary uk electronic pioneers peter christopherson/john balance aka coil. ford proco were formed in 1986 in tijuana and they are considered the godfathers of the industrial electronic music in mexico.

some 20 years on from its initial release, it s amazing how fresh and current praise by leigh dickson sounds, every bit as reinvigorating as a swim in an icy mountain stream. sushitech imprint pariter have opted to remaster the lush original mix in its full glory, adding the already well known and much loved baby ford heavenly circuit remix alongside a new, unreleased alternative remix and new mixes by pariter s own ogerman and derek carr. all four sides are eminently playable in the deep house/techno framework, as you d imagine, with varying levels of the original s bewitching instrumentation retained.

r e p r e s s - in classic baby ford style the a-side opens with -mystery falls- a deep melodic housey workout with shuffling percussion and sublime top line strings. meanwhile on the b-side, shaker hustlin -spooked- conjures up a more stripped down moody grooving chordal affair. both tracks cut at 45rpm for maximum quality and effect on the floor.
