contemporary producer e. myers has self released four limited edition white label 12?s since 2015, whilst managing to remain low profile. whoever they are, we guess they?re huge fans of late 1980s chicago house, shep pettibone, colourbox and most of our reissues. so much that they asked us to re-release their second 12? ?hate / love? from 2016 backed with new remix of ?hate? made for dark entries. ?love? kicks off the a-side ?beats out a wood-cut tattoo of tuff drums rubbed with balloon-squeak synths to sound like gesloten cirkel meets helena hauff,? said boomkat. ?hate? is a dreamy house number that ultilzes a roland tr-707 drum machine with a rounded bassline, horns and strings that lift it into the stratosphere. for the new remix of ?hate? myers subtly shifts the pace and deepens the groove, stretching out the song to over 7 minutes of dubbed out new beat phantasia. all songs have been remastered for vinyl by george horn at fantasy studios in berkeley. the 12? is housed in a die cut disco jacket that features an original design by eloise leigh.

second 12 off the -from night to night- lp features the charming slow jam - put the love in it. a finely crafted pop pysche tune that sounds like it could have come straight off a ppu reissue rounded off with sax and woodwinds from ben castle. reaching into his bag of unreleased bits, the tempo gets upped on the vocoder boogie bounce sound of -let the freak come out at night- and peaking lights aaron coyes is on hand for remix duties to complete the 12 adding his brand of cosmic west coast dub-kraut-groove to really space the title track out.

following the big success of the tmng001 catalogue, label-head yaya strikes back on his own label with another wicked release. his second ep called ‘unconditional love’ also features the first tamango remixer ever and we’re more than proud to have ‘panorama bar’ lady cassy on board. the ep kicks off the things with entitled ‘unconditional love’ which features yaya’s typical trademark groove with some extra great tribal-drums contaminations combined with a great caribbean-oriented female chant, giving life to a proper dancefloor burner. a2 is about cassy. she has been into the music industry since 2003 when she moved to berlin and she’s fresh of her latest album ‘donna’ on ‘aus music’ last year. she provides a beautiful and heavier interpretation of ‘unconditional love’, adding crisp percussions and pure analogic spatial pad, creating a dreamlike dimension surrounded by the massif utilization of pitched endless vocals. the b-side contains the dub version of ‘unconditional love’ for the ones who need a precise and outspoken tool without the vocal part. closing the ep is ‘lone wolf’ which is the prove to dispel any doubt on yaya’s producing skills: the track immediately approaches into softer sonority with nimble analogic and syncopated synths and rapid drums, with hi-hats and shakers only, for another tamango unmissable chapter.

its not often you hear a techno record produced by a total of five people. when it happens, it’s usually to mark a passage and make a statement. sometimes it is a matter of celebrating a rita of passage, a shift into maturity and the embodiment of a new skin. this is what repitch is doing with the fourth and final installment in their “features” series, reuniting all the crew for the the final blast of what’s been a long and massive barrage of heavy techno. this is the collaboration to end them all: repitch founders ascion, d. carbone and shapenoise have shared the studio with longtime allies and. together, they explore a common ground made of pounding metallic percussions, gutwrenching bass and thick, furious grooves, with each producer bringing his own peculiar contributions to the table. this last installment marks the end of a process that accompanied repitch throughout its whole existence, thus enhancing the beginning of a new chapter in the label’s creative output.

cool peepl’s free part ii features additional vocals from the original session in two contrasting mixes. amp fiddler is in the drivers seat first with a spiritual organ workout reminiscent of the 3pm service in detroit’s baptist churches. mr. g’s remix starts out innocent enough until the bass rumbles in, before you know it his signature ride and high hats have you an a twisted journey

the second release of hamburg-based house and techno label audiolove recordings. a limited vinyl release (300 copies only). alrlv 002 is deeply house based ep and features three club cuts of pure, padded brilliance. sunrise is a nice bassline addicted deep house track, as it blissfully sways between softly thumping bass and smooth vocal snippets. next track 13 october is a peak time house track with powerful synths and chords playing around the strong groovin kick and hi-hats. finally, monkey troopers a track of extra rhythmic minimal techno which builds beautifully with lots of angular delicate melodies that form rather tenderly.

love club was an obscure one off project fronted by jay -mixin- dixon, a dj with a long history at nycs kiss fm where he played deep house and garage on the stations legendary master-mix show in the early 90s. the record also features a mystery, uncredited female vocalist assisted by some top shelf studio personnel manning the boards.

an amazing, rare beauty of a track from deep within the trax vaults, eric bells your love originally came out in 1987 and features a stellar instrumental version courtesy of the legendary frankie knuckles. since its original release it has been a heavily sought after piece of wax often changing hands on-line for hundreds of pounds and it remains one of the most cult chicago house records and rightfully so re-mastered and re-pressed here for the first time, your love is an unmissable re-issue complete with original trax label artwork, utterly essential.
