scissor sisters 2nd album from 2006 back on black 180 gram double vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve ! incl their smash single i dont feel like dancing !

3 new uncompromising banger tracks on vinyl by sev dah oozing of nineties techno nostalgia, but not because of some stylistic choice. rather nostalgia as a form of dedication and belief.
with this release, sev dah continues to celebrate those who dedicated their lives fighting fascism. two old-school techno beasts as a nod to those who came before us, finishing with a futuristic space-traveller on the b-side as a reminder that the fight never ends
sev dah and his label proletarijat. rom the near intimidating gravity of strah to the dystopian fight music of zastava m48, via the solemn yet commanding hymn for fallen comrades in tovaris, sev dah manages to create somethingthat is as personal as it is universal. techno with a firm standpoint and loads of force to back it up.
the 3rd release on proletarijat is about to continue the story about sev dahs vision of todays values of techno. mental and driving but simple and yet emotional is the concept of proletarijat003, and sev dah did the job on the a side with -pledge- - the synth is hypnotising but yet forward going, a true techno banger thats order is to transform your reality.
-the universal mother- on a2 is an emotional experimental/ambient vision of unity and brotherhood.
b sides -sloga- is the more simple side of 003 but also the most powerful story that sev is telling here.
three long years after it last graced our ears, the parallel series is back with a new pair of well-established producers. this fifth edition sees sev dah and jeff rushin take on a side each, the result being four expertly crafted pieces oftechno aimed straight for early mornings on darker dance floors
snaga the angry hungry acid monster wants to hurt you bad. he/she/it is joined by tezina, a highly useful techno tool that puts a beat to the voices in your head. on the flip, super production duo johanna knutsson and hans berg tame the beast and send him/her/it on a solo mission to a galaxy far, far away
sev dah brings his brand of powerful, no-nonsense techno with the mighty, pounding xanax. life of the unborn takes a more experimental approach and offers a dark and haunting soundscape. inter gritty is on remix duty, stripping it down and turning the ep around with his jacking, chicago-inspired take on xanax.
sev dah makes his debut on komisch with three unique club tracks. the mysterious producer has been making waves with releases on naked index and gynoid, but he has reserved his most individualistic music for komisch. lead track otit revolves around a surging, powerful bass and subtle metallic percussion. its a prelude for a doomy synth line that gives the track an intangibly eerie feeling. on the flip, disciple is led by heavy claps and a more stepping rhythm, but the lunging bass and eerie synths ensure that itll have maximum impact in a club. >tension< also travels a less obvious route thanks to its offbeat rhythm. but its beats are stomping and the dark, churning filter, coupled with sev dahs haunting synths, means its getting support acoss the board
including remix by brian miller aka detroit people mover.

DID YOU EVER (REMIXES BY CINTHIE, DANA RUH, VIRGO FOUR)
12 Inch 06.08.18
parallel berlin head daniela la luz returns to her home away from home, housewax with a few friends to rework her modern classic, -did you ever-. originally released in 2014 -did you ever- was an instant classic amongst decerning house heads, but it was when detroit legend, moodymann dropped it as closing track on his dj kicks compilation the year later. the light well and truly spun onto la luz and her sublime approach of house and techno. now to kick off 2018 housewax have invited virgo 4, dah ruh and cinthie to offer their spin on -did you ever-. together they each offer 3 unique takes from house to deep techno, yet managing to stay true to the soulful flavor of the original.
full disclosure...i changed the entire release schedule to jam this record in this year. when you listen, hopefully can see why. from getting the demos during my breakfast, the record was agreed and in the schedule by the time id finished my dinner. currently if you cut austin ato i believe hell bleed an amazing record. this record swings between a peak-time hands in the air pink loveheart vibe, hot and heavy classic sample based house, and some real basement orientated machine-made jacking house. its like a quadruple a side release, and i personally find it impossible to pick a favourite on here.
radio slaves colossal the revenge track now gets expert remix treatment from klasse wrecks label head luca lozano. luca has also released on the likes of optimo, sex tags ufo and unknown to the unknown and brings a raw, acid tinged sound to his beats. as a performer lozanos versatile dj sets span between raw house, cosmic disco and dynamic breakbeat selections, which is why hes become a regular at key clubs across europe and tasteful festivals like houghton. his how bow dis remix is solid and features wild old school flavours in its huge drum breaks, a monstrous bassline and dark filtered vocals. it bangs for seven superbly heavy minutes with plenty of twists and turns along the way, and will transform any club or warehouse into a writhing, sweaty mass in seconds. on the flip, his how bow dah version is based around elastic drums and rumbling bass while a loose synth line darts about up top. some distant synths bring a sense of serenity to the madness and so despite the physical impact of this one, it also has real emotion to it.
