sieben jahre lang arbeitete miles bonny an dem nachfolger seines alternative-soul-klassikers -lumberjack soul- (melting pot music, 2011). der künstler, der zeit seines lebens von der musik des black america wie hip-hop, jazz und soul beeinflusst ist, verliess 2013 kansas city richtung new mexico, um mit seiner famile ganz von vorne zu beginnen, und realisierte so seinen -lumberjack soul- traum. das ergebnis ist seine wohl bislang beste arbeit, die als lp auf 180g vinyl mit weiss-schwarzen splatter erscheint.
