since the millennium 2raumwohnung unites electronic sounds and pop melodies in a variety of ways. the early singles wir trafen uns in einem garten (2000) or 2 von millionen sternen (2001) playfully communicated the life-style of a new berlin. the duo, consisting of inga humpe and tommi eckart, started as a studio project and continued to develop via eight album productions. at the same time, an important impulse included developments in techno or house music. their most successful album 36 grad stayed in the german album-charts for 33 weeks, 2raumwohnung continued to expand their stage range as well.

die berliner musikerin, komponistin, produzentin und moderatorin gudrun gut ist seit jahrzehnten eine feste grŸ?e der deutschen musikszene, die sie durch interdisziplin_re impulse und regelm_?ige verŸffentlichungen und auftritte pr_gte. fr?he stationen ihrer karriere sind einst?rzende neubauten, mania d! und malaria. in den letzten jahren machte gut solo und durch kollaborationen mit k?nstlerinnen ihres 1997 gegr?ndeten labels monika enterprise von sich reden. zu dessen 20-j_hrigen jubil_um erscheint mit -monika werkstatt- ein album, das aus dem gleichnamigen workshop resultiert. bei diesem pr_sentieren monika-k?nstlerinnen aktuelle projekte, diskutieren neue verŸffentlichungen, sprechen mit dem publikum ?ber die rolle von frauen in der elektronischen musikproduktion oder improvisieren zusammen. f?r die albumproduktion zogen sich die monika-members agf, beate bartel, lucrecia dalt, danielle de picciotto, islaja, barbara morgenstern, sonae und pilocka krach mit gudrun gut in die uckermark zur?ck, wo sie in einem ger_umigen anwesen mit viel spa?, aber ohne vorgaben vŸllig ungezwungen musik machten. im anschluss nahmen sich die k?nstlerinnen einzelne aufnahmen als patinnen vor und finalisierten diese zu songs. entsprechend verschiedenartig klingen diese. tipp: die vinyl-version enth_lt acht bonustracks.
